Chapter 100 Meetings of a Legitimate and Not So Legitimate Nature

Start from the beginning

Because no matter what his classmates may say he was not going to abandon one of the few supporters of Dumbledore left at Hogwarts. And anyone who did was a traitor. And Ron was no traitor.

‘And astronomy but I’ll switch divination for duelling,’ Ron said feeling excited despite himself because duelling was going to be wicked!

‘That’s good,’ Babbling said. ‘But-‘

‘Can I go then?’ asked Ron impatiently.

He wanted to go and speak to Professor McGonagall today. And this meeting was a farce anyway! It should be McGonagall in this position but because of Hadrian Slytherin and You Know Who they had booted her.

‘No, Mr Weasley,’ Babbling said not unkindly. ‘There are other things we have to talk about. Firstly, Professor Flitwick has informed me that you will be returning home for the weekends. If you come to my office at seven o’clock on Friday evening after dinner. You will be returning by Floo at eight o’clock on Monday morning, in time for breakfast.’

Ron nodded still scowling, ‘yeah, I know.’

What the hell was he going to tell his classmates about why he was going to missing for the whole weekend? Because the idea of telling them he was in therapy was humiliating! He couldn’t tell them that!

But would they even care?

They still had barely said a word to him!

‘Now can I go?’ muttered Ron.

‘I’ve been looking at your grades,’ Babbling said. ‘In your exams you are getting Acceptables across the board except in Potions where you are getting a Dreadful. Your essays do seem to be better which has led to your teachers questioning whether it was you or Miss Granger writing them.’

Ron’s heart twinged painfully.

‘Either way any help you might have been getting won’t help you with your OWLs,’ Babbling said. ‘These grades won’t let you sit any NEWTs as the teachers all request that only Exceeds Expectations and above attend classes. So, if you don’t want to be forced to leave school early with only acceptables in your OWLs I’d suggest you buckle down especially with your court proceedings.
