I backed out of the parking lot not believing what I just seen. I wanted to shake it off cause I knew my mom wasn't like that. Or at least I hoped that she wasn't.
"You good Chan?" Zorrie asked looking at me noticing the look on my face
"Yeah I'm fine, I thought I seen someone that I knew" I lowly responded
Zorrie nodded as her phone began to ring. Soon Zay's voiced beamed through the phone's speaker
"What's up Jackass?" Zay laughed as his face appeared on the screen
"Heyyyy Zay, my nigga I missed your horse looking ass" Zorrie smiled making me laugh
"Is that my bestie I hear?" Zay playfully squealed. I could see him jumping up and down in the camera making me laugh loudly.
"Hey Bff, what you doing?" I smiled as I made a right turn at a light
"Not shit, KB supposed to having a lil get together in the minute. Y'all sliding?" He asked fixing his chain around his neck
"Shit we ain't doing nothing else, might as well" Zo said looking over at me making me nod
"Yeah we'll be there" I replied
"Ight bet, I'll see y'all dumbasses in a lil bit" Zay said hanging up the phone
The idea of us somewhat being together again excited me. I knew it would probably be weird to know that Kianna wasn't here, but she would want us to reconnect our friendship.
"I'm gonna stop by the house and change clothes. I look busted" I laughed looking over at Zorrie as I continued down the road
"That's fine girl" She assured scrolling through her phone
A couple minutes later we pulled up to my house and I parked the car. We got out going inside and we seen Kelsey sitting in the living room watching tv
"Hey Kel, this is my friend Zorrie. Zorrie this is sister Kelsey" I introduced
They spoke to each other and held a small conversation
"Zo, I'll be back in a little bit. It won't take me that long" I said making her nod
Going to my room and picked something simple out of my closet. Since I had already taken a shower before we went to Sephora, all I had to do was change.
I put on my clothes and slid on my clear slides. I made sure my hair looked good before applying lip gloss to my lips , and I sprayed on my cherry blossom perfume. Grabbing my purse, I made sure that I had everything before exiting the room.
Once I got to the living room I seen Zorrie and Kelsey laughing.
"Y'all hit it off well" I chuckled sitting my purse down on the counter
