"It's now been a year since my baby has been gone , she turned eighteen four days ago. I believe in my heart that she's still out there somewhere." I said in the press conference trying to hold back tears
I felt like an awful mother , if I would've been more involved in her life this wouldn't have happened
Instead of being there for my kids like I should have been I was partying. Don't get me wrong , I provided for my girls. I made sure that they never wanted for anything , but I was absent when it came to their personal lives.
"The police are trying to turn her case into a homicide investigation , they think that maybe s-she's deceased." I spoke finally breaking down.
My oldest daughter Kelsey came over rubbing my back as she took the mic from me.
"We will not stop until we find Lashawn Keyes and safely locate my sister. Channity if you're hearing this , we love you and miss you so much. We will get you home soon." Kelsey stated firmly as the conference came to an end.
