"Say, what's your name?" Some senior boy asked as he approached me causing me to look at him confused
"Um Channity, who are you?" I asked looking weirdly at him
He flashed his white teeth making his dimples pop out in the process
"Lashawn" He spoke licking his lips
"Ok, what do you want?" I asked curiously
"To get to know you"

"Shawn, stop" I laughed as he tickled me
"No, answer my question" He laughed still tickling me
"Yes.. Ok yes.." I continued to laugh
"So you agreeing to be my girl?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist
"It's literally been five months, I think we're ready to take things more seriously" I smiled

"Channity, where the hell have you been?" My mom yelled at me as I walked in the house later than I was supposed to
"Out." I mumbled nonchalantly walking past her
"Stop right there, and if you move another step I swear to god you gotta get out of here" My mom said as she raised her voice
I looked at her in disbelief
"What is your issue with me Shalissa?" I asked calling her by her real name
"My issue is that my sixteen year old daughter is around here with a grown ass man that don't give a fuck about her. You know better, you didn't used to be like this until you met HIM" She yelled with tears in her eyes
"Whatever mama, leave me the hell alone" I yelled storming upstairs
"You know what I'm done with you Channity, I want you outta here" I heard her yell
