"Ok Mr.Niles, remember to keep taking your pain medicine and don't put too much pressure on that shoulder" The nurse said packing up her supplies
"I gotcha" I said sitting up on the couch watching her as she finished up heading to the door
"See you later" I spoke opening the door and closing it behind her
We got our own nurse to avoid going to hospitals after we handle business and shit. It keep the questions down so nobody will be in our business
I walked to the kitchen going to the refrigerator getting a bottle of water out opening it and taking a sip
A knock sounded off on the front door making me scrunch my face cause I knew nobody was coming over here
I grabbed my gun out the kitchen drawer tucking it in my pants then I went to the front door opening it
"What the fuck you want?" I mugged looking at Sarai up and down as she stood there playing with her fingers
"Can I please talk to you?" She asked making me shake my head at her
"We ain't got shit to talk about Sarai, gone bout yo business" I chuckled about to close the door but she put her foot in the way
"Please?" She pleaded as tears started to form in her eyes
"Talk" I sighed with a uninterested expression on my face
"I know that you don't believe that the baby is yours Keem, but can you please take a DNA test when she's born?" She said as a stray tear rolled down her cheek
"Why?" I asked staring at her. I could tell I was intimidating her by the way her face fell
"Because, I know that she's yours Keem. I don't want my baby to grow up not knowing who her father is because of my fuck up" She explained
"I'll take the test, I don't give a fuck about that. But when it come to me and you ain't shit you can say to me. If the baby mines ima do my part as a father, but if it's not then ion ever wanna hear from you again" I said clenching my jaw before closing the front door.
Sarai had a lot of nerve ta come here bout anything. Since the beginning I ain't been shit but good to her only for her to fuck me over. I can't ever be on that level with her again cause she broke my trust and it hurt me to know that the baby probably not even mine
