Sam asked, "Did it mention the hook?"

Dean read over, "Upon the execution, all earthly items shall be remanded to the prisoner's house of worship, St. Barnabas Church."

Karina tilted her head, "Wait a minute, is that where Lori's father preaches?"

"Yeah."

"Where Lori live?"

Dean looked at both of them, "Maybe that's why the Hookman has been haunting reverends' daughters for the past 200 years."

Sam replied, "Yeah, but if the hook were at the church or Lori's house, don't you think someone might've seen it? I mean, a blood-stained, silver-handled hook?"

Karina winced with that topic and nodded his opinion. Dean thought things over and suggested one thing. Church records.

After the series of church records, Karina read over the page she found of the church. "St. Barnabas donations, 1862. Received--silver-handled hook from the State Penitentiary." She read over the last word and sighed in frustration, "Reforged."

Sam explained to the trio, "They melted it down, made it into something else." He looked at all of them, and all Dean responded back was closing the book in front of him.

When they all arrived at the church and Lori's house, they were all set to go defend the Hookman. Huntress and the Winchesters got out of the car and discussed the plan. "All right. We can't take any chances. Anything silver goes in the fire." said Dean.

Sam replied, "I agree. So Lori's still at the hospital, we have to break in."

Dean turned to Sam, "All right, take your pick."

"I'll take the house."

Karina offered, "I'm coming with you." Sam nodded, and Dean agreed as well. When Sam and Karina were on their way to break in. Dean stopped Sam for one comment.

"Hey. Stay out of her underwear drawer."

Sam gave Dean a look. He ignored it and walked away from them, heading to the church. Karina's eyes went confused and turned to Sam to ask a serious question. "How are you two related?"

Sam raised his eyebrows in disbelief, "Trust me. I have been asking myself my whole life."

Karina muttered, "Oi..." She headed toward the house, and Sam followed her. As they entered the house, Karina gave the suggestion to Sam. "Ok, I'll go upstairs and you take here."

Sam and Karina went with her plan, after collecting the silver they could in their bags. They both meet up in the hallway at the front entrance. Sam asked Karina, "Did you get everything?"

"Yeah, including her underwear drawer." Sam gave Karina a look. Karina grinned softly, "Sorry, bad joke." Sam couldn't help but chuckle after her line. They both were walking on the street, heading their way back to the church.

Sam gave a slight glance down at Karina. When she lifted up the bag on her shoulder, it gave a view of her jacket side full of iron throwing knives. He was completely awed by her weapons of choice, "I have to say. It's really cool to have those knives."

Karina smiled at him, "Why, thank you. It takes some time with those, but they're so worth it. It's better than guns and rifles. All you have to do is pull the trigger, but these? You have to do it in style."

Sam nodded and grinned at her words, and Karina looked up at Sam. Looking at the distance. She asked him, "So, how was your late watch with Lori?"

Sam turned to Karina, "Seriously?" Karina shrugged helplessly, but he gave in. "It was fine. I was just looking out for her."
