"No wonder why Berlin took the kids and ran."

After 2 months of the gang preparing and training for the heist, D-Day finally came faster than the gang anticipated.

Those past 2 months had been the toughest on Dubai. For 6 weeks, Dubai and Berlin had done nothing but mostly fight and argue about everything, even with tiny things. It didn't stop until 2 weeks ago when Berlin took the kids and ran away, leaving Dubai nothing but a letter of goodbye.

After realising that Berlin had ultimately dumped her, Dubai ordered some of her old associates to track down Berlin and her children. To say the least, she regretted this and what she found truly broke her heart.

Her associates sent her the video of the night Berlin left her, how he met up with Dr Baumann in a hotel in the city of Paris where they shared an intimate hug before entering a room together. After that night, she's lost track of Berlin and her children.

Ever since then Dubai had been spiralling out of control, going back to her old habits of getting high and wasted every chance she got. This only resulted into the Professor demoting her from being the leader of the heist and giving the command to Palermo instead. Dubai didn't mind since she was aware of what Palermo is capable of but to the rest of the gang, this became quite a concern.

As the gang awaited for the Professor to inform them which military troop they're imposing as to get into the Bank of Spain. Dubai couldn't help but remember the time she, Palermo, and Berlin introduced the plan to the Professor 5 years ago.

"Martín, you are using the wrong equation," chuckled Carina as she tilted her head and reviewed Martín's work on the blackboard.

"Last time I checked I was the one who is a graduated and trained engineer," pointed out Martín as he handed Carina the chalk.

"Well, that doesn't prove that you're better than me," winked Carina.

Martín simply rolled his eyes at her but couldn't help but smile.

"You're supposed to use Darcy Weisbach formula at the beginning, not the Hazen Williams formula," corrected Carina as she erased Martín's work.

Martín watch in awe as Carina had finished the problem he has been struggling to work on for a couple hours to which she managed to finish in a couple of minutes.
