Chapter 20

"I love you"

Maya had heard what Carina had said loud and clear it was ringing in her ear drums.

"You love me?" Maya's throat was suddenly dry making her voice hoarse her saliva seeming impossible to find.

"Bella" carina placed both hands on Maya's face as sudden droplets of rainfall started to drop slowly at first but soon started to fall quickly soaking them both.

"You are so much more than what your father has done to you. You're more than an abused little girl. You're my love. I love you Maya" Maya closed her eyes as a single tear drop fell down her cheek.

Carina wiped at the tear and kissed the spot the water had stained her skin.

"I'm scared. No ones ever treated me this well before. I'm scared it's too good to be true. What if I ruin it?" Maya was afraid more than anything in the world that she would turn into her father, but carina would remind her everyday who she truly is.

"You couldn't ruin it" carina ran her nose against Maya's smiling at the contact between their skin.

"I love you too" Maya placed her hand on Carinas jaw and brought her close to her face.

"More than you know" she whispered before pressing their lips together.

Carina smiles into the kiss which causes it to break.

"Let's go home"

They arrived home and realised no one else was home with them.

Mason had left them at the house and Andrew was somewhere probably trying to get to the hospital not realising they weren't there.

She messaged him to let him know they were home and he messaged almost instantly saying he'd be home within an hour.

"Oh would you look at that. The house is silent. We're alone" Maya smirked at her girlfriend as she walked over to the brunette.

Carina rested her arms on Maya's shoulders and wrapped her arms around her neck.

Maya had to lean up a little to reach her girlfriend but the height difference wasn't extreme.

Maya started to place soft kisses to Carinas tanned neck, before moving to her jaw and then her ear.

She bit the skin of her ear lobe firmly as carina tangled her hands through Maya's soft curls.

They rested their heads against each other for a moment not wanting the gentleness of the moment to end, but they both craved more.

Carina slowly pushed Maya backwards until her calves hit the sofa and both teens fell onto the plush cushions, giggling as they fell.

Carina rested her body on top of the blondes being carful as to not hurt her or put too much of her weight against her.

Maya rested her head against the arm of the sofa sighing as she felt Carinas lips trail across her neck.

"Let's get rid of this shall we?" Carina asked, but they both knew the answer.

Maya sat up so that carina had easy access with removing her jumper.

She was carful and weary of her broken arm so she slipped the broken arm out of its sleeve first and then removed the garment completely.

"That's better" Carina smirked at the blonde before dipping her head down to Maya's sports bra.

Carina peppered kisses all across the skin of Maya's toned stomach.

Maya leant further against the sofa fully relaxing into the comfort of the cushions.

"Let's get these off as well" Carina smiled against Maya's abdomen before un popping the button of Maya's jeans.

Carina waited for Maya to lift her body so she could pull the jeans off of her.

Maya kicked the garment from her feet.

"I love you" Maya moaned as Carina started to placed gentle kisses to her thighs.

"I love you more" the next hour was spent touching every single nerve ending the other person had to offer.

Maya was at her house, her father wasn't home, so it gave her the perfect chance to start packing.

She had already chosen a small apartment not far from Carinas house it was perfect.

She placed all of her clothes in one box and her fragile items in another.

It didn't take her long to get packed up because she didn't own a lot of stuff.

Her father had always told her to keep her room plain and minimalistic, so whenever kids would redecorate or buy more things for their bedrooms Maya never went through that faze, she wanted to but wasn't allowed.

She was planning on moving her things tonight; Andrew was going to pick her up with carina in the car so she could help make the process quicker.

She heard a knock on the door and immediately knew it wasn't her father because he has a key but Andrew.

"Hi Andrew through that door and to the left" she told him before placing a kiss to Carinas cheek.

"Hi my love" Carina smiled at the Nick name knowing that it had more meaning now since they had confessed their love to each other.

"Bedroom?" Carina asked as she walked through the door.

"Follow me" Maya took hold of Carinas hand and lead her into her bedroom.

"This is small" Carina noted as she examined the rectangle shaped room.

"Yes because apparently having my brothers room would have been a luxury" Maya replied smiling sadly at the brunette.

All of the boxes were now in the car.

They drove to Maya's apartment and unloaded them from the car and into her apartment.

"This is nice Bella" Carina liked the idea of Maya having her own place, it felt like she was dating a real adult.

"You'll be around here a lot I'm guessing" Maya laughed softly at the thought of Carina never leaving.

"Oh yes this is my home now too"
