Chapter 170: Tactical Retreat II

With the blinding darkness completely encroaching his whole sight, thus rendering him to see his surroundings, Asmodeus then quickly reacted towards such an surprise technique as he quickly retracted his swing and formed a barrier around him using his own magic, thus showing his own battle prowess in such a sudden change of situation

"Mana Shield!"

At the same time as he erected out his own 360 barrier, Asmodeus begun sending out tremors below his feet as he used another type of magic to sense his opponents whereabouts

"Sensory Overdrive!!!"

As he kept sending out numerous tremors to locate Akito, he on the other hand begun reflecting on the last exchanges he did against his opponent, after all compared to both Shun and Sephiria who tried to bring him down through sheer firepower and force, the person he is currently entangled with is somewhat more cunning and sensitive in terms of fighting, thus he completely needed to change his approach regarding the battle

(Asmodeus thoughts: "Completely blinding me in the middle of my attack is quite an impressive feat and a good choice at that, by taking out my vision, i would naturally become wary of any possible changes that may happen midway causing me to instinctively hesitate even for a slight moment")

(Asmodeus thoughts: "But in those slight moments or better yet split seconds of hesitation, that guy was then able to slip past through my attack and completely reverse the situation... he's good! Too good to be exact")

(Asmodeus thoughts: "However! Do you think you could render me useless just because you took out my ability to see?...")

As he thought up those words as he contemplated on the situation, Asmodeus was then able to exactly locate Akito's whereabouts just right behind him and quite a little bit above, as he quickly turned around and swung  right towards Akito

Just as Asmodeus swung his Sycthe, Akito on the other hand used another form of his to completely negate the former's attack, causing sparks to fly as both of their blades clashed against each other

"Hahaha! Your a tad too slow!" Commented Asmodeus as his eyes were still blinded by darkness

"Tch!" Reacted by Akito

At the same time as both of their weapons clashed agaisnt each other, Adelfried quickly swept pass the battlefield as he arrived just above Akito and swung down his Sickle right towards his head

"Don't forget about me Kiddo!!!"

But before Adelfried's blade could hit Akito, Captain Kalego unknowingly kept his sight towards Adelfried as he fired off another bullet towards the former's blade and causing it to miss its target as it changed trajectory once more

"That should be my line" proclaimed Captain Kalego after successfully redirecting Adelfried's strike

"You Fucker!!!" Cursed Adelfried as his attack got interrupted once more by the same guy

"Quit Disrupting my rhythm!!! Gore Cross!!!"

Filled with anger and irritation towards Captain Kalego's continued interference, Adlefried sent out two terrifying cross slash towards the latter which was amplified by his own magic causing destruction to ensue upon its wake

"If you wanted it that way, then you should just focus on me!!! Ballista Cannon!!!"

In response towards Adelfried's counter attack out of pure irritation, Captain Kalego then naturally returned the favor as he met such magic with an attack of its own

As Adelfried's attention was once again diverted towards Caotain Kalego due to his irritation, Akito and Asmodeus on the other hand moved away from that particular location as they fought elsewhere witheach other non stop despite running at the same time

As their blades clashed each other repeatedly for countless of times despite Asmodeus currently being blinded by darkness, Akito then suddenly realized just how much of a threat Asmodeus is really is once more

At first he regarded him as threat which had supernatural strength, speed, and agility, thus as long as he could somehow take away his reliance on his natural senses, he would be able to turn the table on their battle

Unfortunately that wasn't the case at all as instead of being backed into a corner due to being blinded, Asmodeus furthermore unleashes his terrifying combat prowess on their battle thus forcing the battle itself to turn into a standstill with neither of them being backed away

"You... your truly a monster eh? Despite being blinded, your still able to catch up to this kind of speed combat" muttered Akito as he was shocked at Asmodeus current performance

But he said this kind of statement at the lowest volume he could utter, Asmodeus on the other hand grew fiercer once more as he released a huge torrent of magic spells towards Akito, causing him to be pushed back by the current of explosion

"Do you think you could outdone me just by taking sight? Your truly underestimating me aren't you? Fine then let me show you how terrifying I can be with added power of the Aquasphere right at my grasp"

After Asmodeus stated those words, he once again pulled out the contained Aquasphere at his pocket space as he used it's energy to cast a wide range of water magic which is the natural element of the ancient artifact of old

Raising the contained Aquasphere in his palm unto the air, rain cloud then suddenly gathered right above the kingdom as it sparks numerous lighting shackles in the sky, causing the whole blue sky to suddenly turned black in just a few moments

As the heavy rain clouds gather, rain then naturally poured heavily unto the earth, forcing everyone to be soaked in water in an instant as Asmodeus then casted his spell

With a slight mumble in his muttering voice, he then shouted out the name of the spell as he directed it towards Akito

"Needle Rain!!!"

In that instant all the water droplets in the air suddenly halted their downfall as they became sharp as a real Needle and lounged towards Akito like a tsunami in a direction

Seeing the incoming attack, Akito then dashed ahead towards Asmodeus not knowing fear as he led out his sword and used his own techniques against such terrifying magic

Using this initial form, Akito cuts his way through the sea of needle rain as he quickly followed up another attack

"Tomura's Fourth offensive sword form 23-Pon no hakai no ken (23 swords of destruction)"

Once more he cuts his way through the needle rain as he then finally arrived before Asmodeus as used an initial form to neutralize all the attacks around him, before delivering a finishing blow

"Tomura's Third offensive sword form Ken no Nami (Sword Wave)"

Succesfully delivering a blow towards Asmodeus, thus giving the person himself numerous wounds while at the same time neutralizing all the needle rain around him, Akito was pretty much sure satisfied with his combat which took out a lot of him in terms of stamina and muscle strength

But just as he saw Asmodeus getting injured by his attack, he then noticed that the said person himself suddenly recovered back to his uninjured state as if nothing had happened and delivered a huge counterattack empowered by the Aquasphere which literally took out at most 2 kilometer radius of the kingdom in a single slash
