Chapter 147: Danger of a Main Mission

[Kingdom of Avalon]

Based on his perspective, his opponent has a ghostly feeling in a black long hooded cloak, with its long thin like arms stretching out and a long blade protruding out of its wrist

Following that it actually had no legs underneath, thus indicating that it is not a human of some sort

Upon realizing that instead of feeling relieved that his opponent is not a human, he on the other hand felt danger towards such monster that crept up towards his room without any indication at all

Compared to the time he fought against monsters, dungeon boss, the fight with Akito, and the final battle with Lorius, the hostility that such monster he is currently facing is off the roof, thus causing him to be vigilant of such an opponent

Better yet due to his opponent body structure, it is more appropriate to call it a shade

The system did warn him of such a being in his subconscious area and such creature also met up with 9 different people and survived

If that was the case then he himself who was a person foreign to this world, must be the tenth target

Due to that he immediately lounged towards the shade as he raises up his shiv towards it

Unfortunately the shade was nimble enough to react towards Shun's speed and dodged his attack by a few centimeters, after dodging however  the shade grew rather furious even more as it swept out its claws towards Shun direction

In that instant Shun was then blown away by the shades attack, as he crashed unto the wall with a claw mark scratching out across his stomach

Aching in pain he immediately took out a healing potion right out inventory and drank it like there's no tomorrow, thus recovering from such a fatal injury

But as if the shade wasn't satisfied enough, it then charged forward with both of its claws as it stretches out the blades on its wrist and slashed down towards Shun

This time however Shun didn't think of dodging such attack but instead counterattacking it at the right time causing him to parry the shade's blades

But upon the shade's blades colliding against Shun's I.E and Shiv, a huge shockwave spread around the area as it blows off the wall supporting Shun's behind, through that Shun was then blasted off towards the opposite building as he crashed unto its balcony

With such explosion ringing to all the Kingdom of Avalon, added to the fact that a strong electricity and shockwave reverberated across the land, every person then suddenly woke awake from that noise as they all got alarmed by the explosion that happened near a specific inn

Of course the very first group of person that reacted towards such explosion were the elite force of the kingdom as they got out from their beds and wore their gear in immediate swiftness and ran towards the location where the explosion happened

As the commotion in the kingdom grew even larger, Shun on the other hand was in a dire state as the shade relentlessly chases after him and slashed out either its claws or blades towards him

Of course naturally Shun has no way of resolving his current issue but to fight back, thus he clashed against such monster multiple times as he slashed his I.E and Shiv directly towards the fatal spots of the shades

Unfortunately the shade was nimble enough to dodge his every strike and counter back with its claw, thus forcing Shun retreat bit by bit as he slowly lose his ground

In that instant after exchanging their 10th attack towards each other, Shun then immediately jumped off the air and puffed in a mouthful of breath

"Flames Breath"

Breathing out a mouthful of flames from his mouth, he then flooded the whole place into the sea of flames, thus closing out any escape route that the shade may take

But who knew that right at that moment, the shade actually phased through his sea of flames, completely unaffected by Shun's attack and directly dashing in towards him

Seeing such phasing through magic, Shun couldn't help but be surprised by that sudden turn of events

"Hey! Now that's cheating" he complained

But instead of receiving a reply, the shade on the other hand rushed up towards him and slashed out it's blades and claws in multiple direction all heading unto Shun's fatal spot

Sensing the danger of death from that attack, Shun used another one of his bought item in his system shop and used Zhonya's to completely shroud himself in invulnerability in an instant

With a crisp sound of claws and blades hitting a hard object, Shun had completely saved himself from death's door by applying invulnerability unto himself

But such an effect only lasted for a few seconds, thus when he reverted back into his fleshly self, the shade then took such immediate chance and strikes out towards his neck

Right at that moment Shun then predicted such a move would happen when his invulnerability had ran out, thus with immediate reaction speed and swift movement, he then used flash spell to quickly blink away from his current location and appear in some quite distance

Due to that the shades fatal strike once more missed it's target completely

Landing at such distance away from the shade, Shun then quickly gritted his teeth in annoyance as he rushed up towards it once again and used another champion skill against it

"Shunpo!!!"

Using Katarina's skills to directly blink above the shade, Shun then dematerialized his Shiv and held his I.E with both hands plunging down its blade above the shade

But as if on reflex, the shade then spun in midair and blocked Shun's strike with its own claws, thus rendering Shun's set of movements as useless

In that moment however Shun then used Garen's skill, as his mana converges around his I.E

"Demacian Justice!!!"

Upon casting such a skill, a huge sword made of light then materialized up in the air above them and plunges down towards them, thus cutting the building they're standing on into two half

At that both Shun and the shade then fell from the rooftop and unto the building's first floor and crashed down at the pavement below

Unfortunately when Shun got up from his fall, he then took a look at his opponent and saw that he did literally no damage to it at all, causing his mood to turn sour

Clicking his tongue, he then summoned his book out of nowhere and summoned 4 champion out from it's pages

"Summon!!! Garen, Katarina, Ahri, Evelynn!!!"

In that instant four champion then appeared before him, as he gave them one absolute order towards them

"Kill that thing!!!"
