Chapter 163: Cedric VS Adelfried

[Kingdom of Avalon]

Faced agaisnt an invading enemy, Cedric then stanced infront of Adelfried as he tries to protect the two royal families right behind him

After all the target of the invading enemy himself is none other than the royal family of the kingdom of Avalon itself, but since his own family was also considered as a royal family from a foreign land, they are then being targeted by the enemy himself in order to plant discord between two kingdom's

Due to that particular reason, Cedric then had no choice at all but to stand against the enemy despite all of the disadvantages that are faced agaisnt him

In the end he was completely bruised all over his body as it burdens him with a lot of injuries just from their initial fight

Seeing his current situation, Adelfired then couldn't help but merely look down at the crown prince of the foreign kingdom

"Hahahaha! You proclaim yourself as the crown prince of another kingdom and a prestigious mage of some battle academy overseas which got me on my toes, you clearly made me nervous all of the sudden because of your introduction and here I thought that your some big shot fighter in another country, but who would have thought that you only amount this much? Hahahaha! Your nothing but a joke"

Hearing those ridiculing words, Cedric then spat out a mouthful of blood as he replied back with a gritted teeth

"Hahaha! Oh please give me a break! I'm just a student after all... I've still got a lot of room to improve"

"Well that's quite saddening! After all you will have no time to improve here since you and your family alongside this kingdom's royal family will die! Anyone who is going and proving as an obstacle on my way will die for sure!"

"That's just give me enough reason to stand in front of you and never give up" replied Cedric

"For all those years of suffering... die!!!"

With that Adelfried then started casting soell around his body, causing Cedric to take this slight advantage and conjure a quick spe himself

"Star chasers!!!"

Blasting miniscule magic bullets towards Adelfried, the latter then naturally reacted toward such an attack as he finished his enforcement spell and provided armor all around his body

"Mana Flow Armor!!!"

Defending himself from the spells bombardment, Cedric then quickly conjured a sword of light to his left hand as he closed in towards Adelfried's side and slashed down his sword

But with fast reflexes, Adelfried then quickly dodged Cedric's strike by a hair's breath and delivered a quick counter punch towards the latter's guts, causing Cedric himself to be blown away from that quick counter and crashing towards the wall of the throne room

Following that blue arc of light then sparks all around Adelfried's wrist as he started casting a lightning spell on his palm, and with a quick and precise decision, he then sent a devastating spell towards Cedric

"Lightning Arc!!!"

Seeing that spell, Cedric then quickly forced his whole body to move as he rolled to the side to dodge that initial spell, but the moment he dodged Adelfried's initial spell, the latter then somehow instantly sent another one flying his way, completely blasting him away towards another room

"Traingular Pagoda!!!"

As the spell exploded upon hitting Cedric and blasting him out of the room, Adlefried then turned his focus towards the two royal families who were completely defenseless sin e all of their guards were being occupied by his own men

On the other hand when the two kings of the two respective kingdom's saw Cedric getting blasted away, King Hendrick and King Hassan naturally put their respective nkn combatant family members behind them as they steeled themselves to protect their family no matter what's the cost

But upon seeing such a touching scene, Adlefired simply laughed for a bit as he somehow couldn't help but cringe at this sight of protective family

"Whats this? The kings of the two country trying to protect their family? Bwahahaha! What a hilarious sight! Do you think you can protect your family with just your mere self? Laughable!!!"

"We may be old, but we're still warriors at heart, if you think you can bring both of us down then we will see you try" said King Hendrick!"

"You have a grudge against me and my family right? Then what if we settle this score this day? To end everything between us" suggested King Hassan

Hearing their proclamation, Adelfried then replied anger and excitement

"You want us to end this here right now? You want us to finalize our act? You want me to go all out? Fine!!! Just like want I wanted"

With that Adelfried spreadout his two arms outward as he started casting two simultaneous spell beside him and blast them all away towards the two old kings of their respective kingdom's

"Blood bullets!"

"Crystallize spears!!!"

Without hesitating at all, he sent two spells towards the two kings as he excitedly watch as his two attacks rained down on them

But before his attacks could actually hit it's target, Cedric then somehow blasted himself out from the other sides wall and stood in front of the two kings in quick precision

Following that he inhaled deeply as he quick casted spell which would enable him to block all of the incoming attacks in one fell swoop

"Sonic Massacre!!!"

With his whole body enhanced by such a spell, he then quickly sent out quick attacks of his own with his two light swords which is literally fast enough that it created a barrier of attacks which deflected all of the spells that Adelfried had sent down their way

Seeing such an impossible feat, Adelfried was completely flabbergasted upon the sight of using an attack which is so fast to deflect his own, causing to spat out a single word

"Impossible"

Just like him even the two royal families behind Cedric were shock and surprised by that impossible feat

Nevertheless such feat did just happen right before them
