50-Forced Feelings

Alora settled for an oversized sweater and some jogging pants. She placed her fro into a high bun before putting on her shoes. Lilith walked into the bedroom.

"There you are," Lilith said

"There's nowhere else I'd be," Alora said chuckling

"Are you ready for your first appointment with the therapist?' Lilith asked

"I'm trying to be," Alora said

"I could come with you," Lilith said trying to sound cheerful

"Why? Where's Axel?" Alora asked

"He didn't tell you?' Lilith asked

"I haven't talked to him in two weeks. He doesn't answer my calls or texts. I've been giving him space to clear his mind. What didn't he tell me?" Alora said

"He's going back to New York. He left hours ago" Lilith said

"What?!" Alora yelled 

Meanwhile...New York

The car drove into the gates of Axel's Mansion. Axel exited the car slamming it shut behind him. The cold breeze blew against his face; he felt at home finally. Axel walked to the front door and knocked.

Waiting nervously Annika finally answered the door.

"Look who it is," Annika said annoyed

"I'm ready to be a better father," Axel said

Annika looked at Axel for a few seconds before allowing him inside.

"Devine?!" Axel yelled

"Dad!" Devine yelled as she ran to him

Axel picked Devine up and hugged her tightly.

"I've missed you!" Axel said

"I missed you too!" Devine said

"I hope you're feeling better"

"I am"

"Did you get to see Lizzie?"

"Yup"

"Okay let's go and spend time with her," Axel said

"What about Alora?" Devine asked

"She'll come later," Axel said

Annika furrowed her brows

"Where's Alora?" Annika asked

"Not now Annika!" Axel yelled

Axel left the mansion with Devine and walked to the hidden house where Lizzie stayed 

"Let me in guards" Axel yelled

The guard unlocked the door allowing Axel and Devine to enter. Lizzie jumped up from the couch in surprise.

"Axel?" Lizzie said confused

"Lizzie," Axel said

"What are you doing here? You never visit me" Lizzie said

"Just thought we could spend time together as a family. Since you are Devine's mother." Axel said

"I'd love to," Lizzie said smiling widely

Devine had a worried look on her face she quickly hid it with a smile. Something felt off and nothing felt right since Alora wasn't here.

"Let's play a board game shall we?" Axel asked

"Sure!" Lizzie said

Meanwhile...

Annika called Alora's cellphone but got no reply. Getting worried she called Lilith's number.

"Hello?"

"Where's Alora?"

"We're at her first therapy appointment, she's talking to the doctor right now," Lilith said

"How has she been?"

"She's been worried sick about Axel but I can tell she's not trying to overstress since she's pregnant."

"Did they fight or anything?"

"Not that I know of"

"Okay Thank you. Axel has been very weird lately"

"Yeah because you called him a terrible father and took his daughter away"

"I know I feel terrible about it"

"Then fix it. I gotta go Annika. Bye"
