21-The More The Merrier

Dr. Adelman and Alora carried on their conversation more specifically about the younger days with the team. There were many funny and embarrassing moments mentioned which only softened Alora's heart towards the team. She didn't see them as heartless cold killers. She viewed them as humans with emotions. How could killers laugh, smile or even love? It's impossible.

Alora fixed Devine's hair into two french braids.

"Are you ready to go home, Devine?" Alora said smiling cheekily

"Ready!"

Alora took ahold of Devine's tiny hand.

"Hello everyone!" Manuel said loudly as he walked into the hospital room

"Grandpa!" Devine yelled out in excitement letting go of Alora's hand she ran to Manuel hugging him tightly

Manuel hugged her back "It's good to see you up and running again"

"I'm glad you could make it father"

"Ahh yes, I just wanted to see Devine. Your mother and I have a surprise for her actually."

"Really?! A surprise?!" Devine said smiling

"Yup the first surprise is waiting in the car with your grandmother"

"Daddy! Can I go see the surprise, please?!

"Of course"

"I wanted to also ask if she could sleepover for a few days. There's a really important task that you need to do. I've already informed Cedric he'll update you."

"Ofcourse father. See you soon okay angel?"

"Okay bye, Daddy! Bye Alora!"

Manuel and Devine exited the hospital room leaving Alora and Axel to themselves.

"Come on baby let's go home," Axel said reaching his hand out to hold Alora's hand

Both their hands intertwined and they walked out of the hospital room with smiles across their faces. The two walked to the elevators and waited for the doors to open.

"You know I'm really glad we met Alora," Axel said softly

"I'm glad as well," Axel said smiling

The two stepped into the elevator. The elevator reached the first level with ease. Before they knew it they were already entering into the back seats of the car where Oliver was waiting.

"I hope all went well," Oliver said

"It did Oliver thank you," Axel said

"Where to sir?"

"The mansion," Axel said

Twenty Minutes Later...

Oliver parked in front of the mansion. Axel and Alora both thanked him before exiting the car. They both entered the mansion where the rest of the team was.

"You're back finally, how was the hospital?" Cedric said

"It was fine, now let's discuss the mission," Axel said

"Yeah sure so-"

"In the office," Axel said

"Wait Axel," Alora said interrupting

Axel looked over at Alora

"Would you be okay with me being a part of the meeting?"

Axel's eyes widen by surprise from her question
