To Stay By Your Side

Heeseung's POV

I ran as fast as I could down the hallway but I couldn't find Jungwon anywhere. After searching high and low, I heard sniffles and whimpers coming from round the corner. I followed the quiet crying only to see him sitting helplessly on the floor with his arms over his head and knees.

I came up to the weeping boy and sat beside him. "How are you feeling Jungwon?"

"I..I don't even know anymore hyung" he managed to say "I'm upset, angry, lonely but most of all, I'm hurt... everything hurts"

I wrapped my arm closest to him around him shoulders and looked at him "look at me Jungwon" I said. He slowly looked up with his teary eyes. "You know, being in a relationship doesn't benefit too much things"

"What...do you mean?"

"I mean a relationship is good and all but being in one, doesn't mean you can't stay by his side. Through the good and the bad" I explained ""

"I know that" he mumbles "but to know that you can't be with someone who you love due to circumstances makes me wanna give up on everything you once believed in" his eyes started to fill with tears once more
"I don't know what to do hyung" and broke down once more

I made him lean against my shoulder while soothing him as much as possible. It hurts me to see Jungwon and Sunoo like this, I guess I now understand why they always tried to help me through my worries. "I'm sorry to hear that, I know you're going through a tough time now" I said "but crying right now won't help Jay focus if he knows you're not okay, his coronation is in a few days from now so let's be happy for him then we can sort it out later"

Jungwon lifted his head slowly to wipe his tears "I understand"

"Alright. Is there anywhere you want to go right now?"

"I wanna go into my room, it's been a long day and I'm tired"

"Okay then let's go"

Jungwon's POV

After Heeseung took me back into my room, I managed to get a few hours of sleep after crying my eyes out until I felt a presents beside me which was very noticeable. I slowly reopened my heavy eyes and sat up from the bed. I appeared down, taking notice at my lower half being covered by a blanket. "Hmm, Heeseung didn't cover me with a blanket" I told myself

I looked over to my side to see a very sleepy Jay next to me with only his head on my bed like the clingy person he is. "What's he doing here?" I thought

Just as I was about to get out of the bed, Jay grabbed my hand, pulling me towards him. "Where do you think you're going?" He mumbles in a deep voice

I suddenly my face started to heat up. "Just somewhere..." I replied, trying to sit back up

Of course, he wouldn't let me go "And where is this somewhere?" He asked while sitting up and dragging me onto his lap, making us closer that before "you gonna answer"

"I already told you just somewhere else...away from you" I mumbled the last part distancing myself as much as possible

"Is it really about that?"

"About what?"

"You know what I'm talking about"

I stopped struggling out of his grasp and looked down from his gaze "there's nothing to talk about"

"Come on, stop putting on the act Jungwon, the others have already told me" Jay said "is making an heir really the reason why your like this?"

I didn't reply and kept my mouth shut. However, this didn't last long as I felt Jay's lift my chin up using his fingers. "You know I love you, you can tell me anything"
