Oklahoma

I'd not heard off of Rue since I seen her Friday at school.

Friday
Kat, Maddy and I were walking to the girls toilets during our break period between classes.

"Are you making fun of me or do I actually look like I'm auditioning for Oklahoma?" I heard Cassies voice echoing off of the walls. Rue, Lex and Cass were stood in the toilets and when I seen what Cassie was wearing I was extremely confused. She was dressed like she was actually from Oklahoma.

"Why the fuck are you auditioning for Oklahoma?" I asked standing next to Cassie looking at myself in the mirror touching up my makeup.

"I'm not!" She whined back stomping her foot in frustration.

"Then why the fuck are you dressed like you're auditor Oklahoma?" Maddy asked with slight amusement in her voice.

Cassie turned to look at herself in the mirror. "Do I?" She lowered her voice.

"Yes" we all mumbled not wanting her to boot off.

"Has everyone read Oklahoma but me?" Rue asked looking at us all.

"Oklahoma isn't like a play you read" Kat replied to Rue's question.

"Rue are you on drugs?" Cassie asked half serious.

"Yes" she nodded not understanding what she had just said till we all reacted.

"You relapsed?" Maddy asked as everyone else let out gasps.

"No I'm just err smoking a little bit of weed" she shrugged but I knew she was lying. She had been doing drugs with Elliott nearly everyday since she had met him.

"Wait so I don't understand if you're not auditioning for Oklahoma why do you look like that?" Kat asked taking us back to our original conversation.

"Like what?" She said nearing tears. I could tell all this was frustrating her and I just wanted to know why. There has to be something on her mind for her to be this worked up.

"Like a county music star" Maddy scoffed touching up her makeup in the mirror beside me.

"In a good way or a bad way?"

"Bitch you better be joking" I let out a laugh.

"Are you ok Cass?" Kat asked but Cassie stayed quiet she didn't say a word. She just stared at herself blankly in the mirror.

And that was the last time I had seen Rue. She was high on drugs in the school bathroom. I would have probably seen her more if I still had been hanging around with Elliott but since I had broke it off with him and gotten back with Fez I didn't see much of either of them.
