Y\N bit at the bottom of her lip in thought as she packed a suitcase with necessities she'll be needing such as clothes for certain occasions (e.g. casual wear, fancy dresses, etc.), makeup, and shoes. Y\N had a separate pouch to hold hygiene products.

The taste of iron slowly trickled into her mouth as she realized how hard she had been chewing at her lip. Giving herself a pitiful laugh Y\N shakes her head and zips up the suitcase.

"You alright Miss L\N?"

Y\N spun around to see Luther stood, brows furrowed in concern. It was at the meeting that it was announced that Luther would be able to tag along for safety purposes but he'll be a day or two late which made them both nervous.

" I am fine, thank you for asking." Y\N gave an unconvincing smile as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "We should get going now."

"No, you should get going." Luther spoke up. And if Y\N wasn't already alert she would have not noticed how sad his tone was when correcting.

"Welcome to the Kirkland household Poppet*!" Oliver opened the front door and stood in the doorway.

Y\N grinned at him. He always seemed so cheery it was contagious. "Thank you for having me over. I hope we can work well together over the next week." Y\N stepped inside the house at Oliver's gesture.

"It looks lovely in here. It's very you!" Y\N giggled, turning towards the freckled face that stared back at her.

"Thank you?" Oliver tilted his head slightly like a puppy would.

Clearing his throat, his powder blue eyes avert downward to the suitcase she held onto. "Let me show you to the guestroom then we can have a quick tour. I have a little surprise as well!" He spoke in such a manner that it reminded Y\N of an excited kid.

"Sounds nice to me but should I be worried? I've never seen you so giddy." Y\N joked.

"No need for worry Poppet!" He reassured, missing the joking manner of her words. "Right this way please." Oliver turned and lead the way.

Y\N was quick to follow, looking at the pistachio green walls and the photos upon said walls. Portraits of the pastel male himself and Francois, along with two kids hung on the wall.

"Y\N?" Oliver stopped and looked back at her. She had frozen in front of the photo in a daze.

"Huh? Oh! I'm sorry!" She looked at him and smiled apologetically.

Oliver was quiet as he paced up beside her. His eyes shined at the acknowledgment of the images before him.

"I don't think you've seen photos of the two boys while they were young."

"Pardon?" Y\N looked over to Oliver an expression that showed her confusion. His powder eyes met her E\C eyes immediately.

"Matt and Allen Poppet. The photo was taken in the early 1700's when the four of us got along most of the time. Circumstances sure have changed." He sighed in longing.

"I agree, Allen was actually cute back then." Y\N mumbled.

"Oh you and your humor." Oliver smiled.

Y\N switched her attention to him. "Sorry couldn't let the opportunity slip, let's keep that between us though."

"Alright, but let us get going now. Time is precious." Oliver took one last look at the portrait before walking away. Y\N followed close behind.
