Victoria smirked lightly as she walked.

Almira really liked someone.

Hell, loved someone.

Victoria felt a sense of pride in her.

"I am...a great match maker," she chuckled to herself and fell asleep in the hallway.

-

Xavier couldn't help but grin.

He's been hanging out with Almira lately, and he's noticed things he never noticed before.

Almira could actually be kind.

She doesn't smile a lot. But when she does, he wants to keep making her smile so that he could see it again.

'Damn... I'm head over heels,' Xavier thought with a chuckle.

But he had a dreadful feeling.

As if someone would disappear from his life.

From everyone's lives.

Xavier shook his head and decided to sleep it off.

He hoped nothing will happen in their expedition tomorrow.

Not when everyone is happy.

-

The morning was bright and warm, and the sky was clear, but Xavier still couldn't shake off the feeling.

"Victoria!" called Hanji, Moblit keeping an eye on her. "Could you get this information for me?" She held out a sheet of paper.

Victoria eyed it and nodded slowly. "Easy." She pocketed some scratch paper and a pencil. "I'll get it for you."

Xavier panicked.

The formation got disarranged and he was lost in a forest. He swore under his breath.

That's when the black flare shot up into the sky.

Almira's head whipped back when she saw the black flare.

Gritting her teeth, she turned towards Levi who was in front of her.

"Heichou! Black round spotted!" Almira yelled. "And it's near us!"

Levi glanced at Almira. He knew that even if Almira tried to hide it, she wanted to help.
