VERA's POV
"Vester, oh, new toys!" I said cheerfully as I showed my son the toys his Ninongs gifted him.
He just wake up from sleeping.
Yesterday was his first birthday. Maraming nangyari kahapon, we had so much fun. All of our friends were invited to the party. Vester had so much fun too kaya hindi na ako nahirapan sa pagpapatulog sakaniya kagabi dahil kusa na siyang nakatulog dahil sa pagod.
"Goodmorning, baby boy." I said sweetly when I carried him.
It's my daily routine to go here in his room as soon as I wake up early in the morning to check on him. Mas nauuna kasi akong magising kay Stell minsan kaya ako na ang nag-aasikaso kaagad kay Vester.
"Oh, 'wag malikot." sabi ko habang karga siya at sinasarado palang ang pinto ng kwarto niya.
Vester was giggling and I don't know why. He extended his arms kaya napalingon ako kung sino ang tinitignan niya.
I pouted when it was Stell. I rolled my eyes at him bago ko ibinigay sakaniya si Vester. Kaya pala biglang tumawa at nagpakarga, kasi nakita na ang Daddy niya. What a Daddy's boy.
"Goodmorning, Sean." Stell said as he carried our son.
I used to call our son by his second name, Vester, but Stell keeps on calling him Sean. Sean Vester kasi ang pangalan niya.
Bumaba na kaming tatlo para pumunta sa dining. Elliana was already there, waiting for us. She smiled then greeted us a good morning kaya naman binati rin namin siya.
Speaking of her, she's been a good Ate to her little brother. She would always make Vester giggle, before and after school ay hinahalikan niya pa 'to kagaya samin. She's growing up, she's nine years old now.
Kahit na may kapatid na siya na maliit palang ay syempre hindi namin siya nakakalimutan. Stell and I would never do that.
"Your Ate sing so good." mahina kong sambit kay Vester habang kalong-kalong ko siya.
I was watching Elli's video from Stell's laptop. Kuha 'to last time when Stell brought Elli with him for a while at their studio. Timing na may music na nagpplay sa background at sinasabayan niya iyon and she thought of recording herself just like what she sometimes do.
Dahil doon ay bigla akong napaisip, I won't deny that Elli has a future in singing. She's like her Dad, parehas silang kumakanta, magaling pa. Elli will just be needing a lot of practice if in the future, she want to pursue music.
