Chapter 61 • Return

Depuis le début

SAPNAP:
"You constantly ditch me for George. It's always you two against everyone else, against me."

DREAM:
"We almost lost each other, Nick." I glared, "We're both fucking scared out of our minds to lose each other. I thought you knew that but clearly not. All you're caring about is your damn self."

He clenched his jaw.

DREAM:
"You just made George cry, what the fuck is wrong with you??"

I stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind me to try to find George.

-GEORGE's POV-
I was walking down the street with my hands in my pockets as my tears hit the concrete.

I had no idea where that came from. Sapnap was being a complete dick for no reason.

As I was strolling, in the corner of my eye, I saw something in the bushes. Then I turned my head towards it to see Hunter staring at me.

My heart dropped as my eyes widened.

He raised a finger and signaled me to come to him. I sighed nervously as I looked around. Then I walked to him.

GEORGE:
"What're you doing here...?" I asked lowly.

HUNTER:
"I got bailed out." He lied with a smile.

I swallowed hard.

GEORGE:
"Are you planning anything...?"

HUNTER:
"Yeah..." he nodded while looking down, "I'm planning on..."

He sighed.

HUNTER:
"It's complicated...but, I could use your help with something."

I laughed while my eyebrows squished together.

GEORGE:
"Don't be upset that I don't believe you." I raised my eyebrows.

HUNTER:
"Look, it has nothing to do with you, okay...? I wanna surprise my sister..."

GEORGE:
"Oh..." I sighed nervously, wondering what the fuck I was doing here talking to the psychopath who made my life a living hell.

HUNTER:
"Can you help me with my plan?" He smiled.

I clenched my jaw.

GEORGE:
"No...go get one of your friends to help you. I don't trust you..." I started to walk away when he grabbed my wrist tightly.

My eyes widened as I clenched my jaw tighter. I looked up at him.

GEORGE:
"Who bailed you out...?"

HUNTER:
"I'll tell you if you help me out with my plan."

GEORGE:
"No. I don't care enough." I tried walking away again when he jerked my wrist and slammed me against the wall.

I gasped as I shut my eyes, clenching my jaw.

HUNTER:
"C'mon, George. Help a friend out." He smiled, "If you do...I'll tell you where your sister is."

I glared at him hard.

GEORGE:
"You don't have her...she's back in England with my other siblings...she's been taking care of them since my parents went to jail for helping your crazy ass."

He blinked slowly at me then smiled.

GEORGE:
"Do us both a favor, and leave me the hell alone. I'm warning you..."

HUNTER:
"Sure thing, George." He grinned then kneed me in the stomach.

I groaned in pain then he punched me hard in the face, making the side of my head slam onto the concrete. He grabbed my collar and glared at me as I felt the blood drip down my temple.

GEORGE:
"Do it..." I clenched my jaw.

He chuckled.

HUNTER:
"Feeling brave today?"

GEORGE:
"Do you have your gun with you?"

HUNTER:
"I always do." He grinned.

GEORGE:
"Then shoot me." I glared.

HUNTER:
"Not in public, silly."

Hunter smiled then picked me up by the collar of my shirt and dragged me to an alleyway. He pushed me down against the concrete then took out his gun from his back pocket.

GEORGE:
"Do it. No one's stopping you." I clenched my jaw with a hard glare.

He chuckled.

HUNTER:
"You're asking for it?"

GEORGE:
"Yeah. It can be something else I'll forgive you for."

His eyebrows squished together.

GEORGE:
"I can forgive you for this..." I spoke lowly, "After all, the world made you this way so just get it over with...take your pain out on me..."

Hunter clenched his jaw while frowning. He raised the gun and pointed it at me.

GEORGE:
"I'm sorry about what happened to your Clay..."

His nose scrunched as he put his finger on the trigger.

GEORGE:
"You didn't deserve that..." I breathed out while setting my head back.

I felt the blood from my head run down my jawline.

GEORGE:
"He loved you so much..." I swallowed hard, "He was proud of you until you met me..."

Hunter frowned as tears started to form in his eyes.

GEORGE:
"Take out your pain on me...it's okay..." I said quietly.

I leaned my head back against the wall as my vision became blurrier.

GEORGE:
"It's not your fault..." I whispered, "If...this will take your pain away...do it..."

His eyes widened as he swallowed hard.

GEORGE:
"I'll die peacefully...knowing...you forgive yourself..." I breathed out slowly as I shut my eyes all the way.

Hunter bent down to me slowly then tapped my face.

HUNTER:
"George...?" He set the gun down next to me on the concrete, "George?"

I quickly grabbed the gun and pointed it to the middle of his forehead as I shot my eyes open. Hunter's eyes widened as he looked up at the gun.

GEORGE:
"Gotcha." I clenched my jaw with a hard glare.

He sighed with a smile.

HUNTER:
"I'm impressed."

GEORGE:
"I warned you..." I spoke lowly while locking my eyes on his.

HUNTER:
"You won't shoot me, George. You're too weak, you're too good of a person too. So, just put the gun down and we can talk about this."

I blinked slowly at him. He quickly grasped the gun then I gripped it with every ounce of strength I had in me.

I split in his face then he groaned.

HUNTER:
"Come on!" His grip loosened on the gun then I grabbed it all the way from him.

I pointed it at him as I shakily stood up. I clenched my jaw while glaring hard at him. Hunter chuckled while standing up, holding his hands up.

HUNTER:
"Shoot me then, George. I dare you." He smirked.

I raised the gun to his head then pulled the trigger.
