"I think you're wrong about them." Ben said, a twinkle in his eye.

"Look, Bennie boo," Audrey said, grabbing his hands "I know your mom fell in love with a big mean beast who terns out to be a princes, but with my mom, the evil fairy is just the evil fairy."

"Same with my mom," Dorian jumped into the conversation "everyone warned her about the mean, Wicked Witch, and she's horrible!"

"Guys, just give them a chance. They aren't their parents." Said Ben, a calm quality to his voice.

"I agree with Ben." Gabriela said, making eye contact with Dorian.

"Gabby!" Darian exclaimed, sounding surprised and annoyed.

"Come on, Dorian, you haven't even talked to any of them yet." Gabriela argued, lightly punching him in the shoulder.

Dorian thought back to his attempt at talking to Eleanor, deciding it was best to keep it to himself.

Mal walked away to follow Jane into the bathroom, leaving Eleanor alone. The little witch started getting some books out of her locker.

Gabriela started to walk towards her before being stopped by Dorian.

"What are you doing?" He asked, spinning her around.

"I'm gonna go talk to her." She said cheerfully, starting to walk towards Eleanor again.

Dorian following close behind. Gabriela heard his footsteps behind her-a thrilled smile appeared on her face.

"You want to meet her too!" She said, excitedly looking back at him.

"No, I'm going to supervise." He said, adjusting the collar of his shirt.

The two of them started arguing, Gabriela having a playful ring to her voice, not noticing Eleanor walking by. Gabriela swung her arm out to emphasize her words, smacking her right in the face.

Eleanor fell backwards, dropping the five books she had in her hands.

"Sorry!" Eleanor said, trying to quickly pick up all her books.

"No, I'm sorry! I'm the one that smacked you in the face!" Gabriela said, dropping to the floor to help her pick up her books.

They both grabbed two books before they reached for the same one.

Gabriela stared at Eleanor's green hands, Great first impressions, Gabriela! she thought.

The two looked at each other for a moment before Eleanor pulled the book away slowly.

They both stood back up staring at one another.

"Sorry," Eleanor mumbled, reaching for her other two books.

Gabriela pulled back a bit and looked at the book covers. Eleanor stood awkwardly watching her, her eyes darting back and forth between her and the books.

"Are you doing a book report?" She asked, looking at the books again.

None of the books she had been holding were school books.

"No, just some light reading." Eleanor said, gently taking the books from her.

"I'm Gabriela," The blonde said, finally gathering her whits.

She reached her hand out for Eleanor to shake.

"Eleanor," The green girl said as she reached for her hand, almost dropping her books in the process.

She shook Gabriela's hand and started to walk away.

"This is Dorian," Gabriela said, dragging him closer, trying to say something-anything-to stop her from leaving.

"I'm aware." Eleanor said plainly, glaring at the boy.

Gabriela laughed with an awkward look on her face as Dorian glared back at Eleanor.

"So, ah, do you wanna hang out later?" she asked, letting Dorian shake free from her grasp.

"Uh-"

"You can say 'no'." Dorian said quickly, brushing off the sleeve Gabriela was grasping.

Gabriela shot him an annoyed look, getting a "what did I do" look in return. Eleanor had a stunned though annoyed expression.

"You really don't have to-"

"I know," Gabriela interrupted, grabbing Eleanor's shoulders,"that's what makes me so nice."
