"My snowman and me."

KAGEYAMA'S P.O.V

I remained silent. There were a lot of things running through my mind. I fought with my thoughts but I did the unexpected.

I wrapped my arms around his shoulder and pulled him close into a back-hug. It was kind of uncomfortable since he was seated and I had to bend down a lot for that but I really wanted to pull him into a hug.

"Ka-Kageyama?" He gasped. "What's the... meaning of this?" He mumbled. "I did miss you too," I whispered in his ears. "What... are you talking about?" He murmured. "I heard your conversation right now, sorry." I apologized. "You must think I'm weird." He placed his hand on my hand which was still wrapped around his shoulder.

"I don't, really. We're on the same page." I raised my head from his shoulder and rested it on his head as I let go of my arms around his shoulder. "Kageyama..." He called out slowly. "It's Tobio for you." I corrected him. "Yeah... Tobio." He repeated. "What is it?" I asked.

"I have a crush on you, is that weird?"

Silence.

I let go of him and backed away a little. I stared at him in silence, shocked. He turned himself to face me from his chair. He sent me a confused look. "It's weird, isn't it?" He sighed. His eyes displayed hopelessness.

What the hell am I supposed to speak in these kinda situations?!

"I don't think it's weird... It's just that..." I paused. "Give me some time to think of it." I continued.
"Until then, we can be friends," I added. "Fine." He lowered his head. "Uhm... Why do you like me?" I asked as I sit on my bed. "I'm asking myself the same question." He answered. "I still don't know the answer to the question of why I like you, Tobio." He explained.

"You said you wanted to talk?" He asked. "Yeah," I mumbled. "I wanted to apologize for my... behavior." I rubbed my nape in embarrassment. "I... forgive you." He turned himself back to his desk and started scribbling on his... travel journal?

"Did... your mother... say something to you?" He asked. "Yeah," I answered. "She told me about how happy you were about me coming this year," I explained. "Yeah. I was really happy to see you." He smiled. "It feels like... it's been years since we bonded." I exhaled a grin. "Because it actually has been years." He looked at me.

"It's about time we solve our conflicts," I spoke up. "Of course. That conflict was years ago." He replied. "It's time to move on." He added. "After all... no one can take your place," I mumbled. "I can hear you." He chuckled. "Obviously." I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Are you still traveling?" I questioned. "I'm taking a break this month." He answered. "I see."
"You wanna meet up with Suga and Daichi?" Hinata asked. "Wait... really?!" I widened my eyes. "Yeah. We can meet everyone." He replied. "When?" I asked. "Tomorrow. On your birthday." He responded.

"Fine, I'd love to." I agreed. "Alright. Mom has planned something for tomorrow." He stated. "What is it?" I slid under my duvet while leaning my back on the bed's headboard. "It's a surprise. I'm not answering that question." He glared at me. "Fine. Have it your way." I groaned.

"Did you make any friends in Tokyo? Or were you lonely?" He snickered. "Taunting me, huh? I see." I smirked. "Answer?" He smirked back. "Yes, I did," I answered. "Good for you." He shrugged. "What about you?" I asked. "Same old friends. No one new." He answered. "You're the lucky one here." I sighed.

"Whoa! That reminds me how much stubborn you were about moving out to Tokyo." He placed his palm on his mouth, probably stopping his laughter. "Very funny." I grumbled. "You've been to Tokyo, I assume?" I said. "No. You were there so I didn't go to Tokyo." He replied. "That's mean." I complained. "Says you." He joked.

"How's Yachi?" He asked. "Apparently good, we don't meet much since we both are like super busy." I answered. "You're awfully talkative nowadays." He complained. "Shut up! I'm just answering your questions!" I spatted. "I remember you being a huge introvert. I'm not used to this Tobio." He laughed. "And on the hand, you didn't change at all." I rolled my eyes. "Same annoying shorty." I riposted.

"Don't drag my height in between!" He retorted. I laughed for a bit while he kept pouting and complaining.

"Oi..." I started. "What now?" He responded. "Sleep here from now onwards. It must be cold in the living room." I stated. "Your mother keeps the fireplace lit so it's not that bad." He replied. "Still. Sleep here." I insisted. "Fine. If you insist." He replied.

"What's the time?" I asked. "7 at night." He answered. "I see. We should head down for dinner." I said as I got up. "We still have an hour?" He replied. "Let's go if you don't wanna miss the gingerbreads." I said as I open my room's door. "Coming." He said and followed me.

We finished our dinner and headed to our rooms. "Mom, Shoyo's sleeping in my room." I informed before jogging upstairs. "Wait!" She yelled before she came dashing towards me, meanwhile I was halfway up the stairs. "Shoyo? Your room? Sleeping? Together? Did you sort things out or something? Or did you hit your head on a boulder?" She asked while panting.

"Mom!" I groaned. "Yeah. We sorted things out. More details later. I'm sleepy right now." I yawned before jogging to my room. "Good night!" She wished. "Same to you!" I yelled loud enough for her to listen.

"Is there a problem?" Shoyo asked as I entered my room. "Nope. Mom's just surprised." I chuckled. "But if you're uncomfortable, I'll sleep in this room's couch." I added. "N-no! I'm not uncomfortable! Not at all!" He shook his head frantically while also waving his hands. "Fine. Let me turn on the heater." I informed and did as I said so.

"Come." I said and slid under my duvet. He quietly made his way towards the bed and laid down beside me. Okay, this way more awkward than expected.

HINATA'S P.O.V

My heart is pounding loudly. I'm sweating bullets. My mind is crossing a million possibilities.

I turned away from Tobio causing my back to be facing him. That's when I felt an arm circling around my waist. I gasped. "I don't remember you moving away from me when we used to sleep together before?" He said as he pulls me closer.

"St-stop! Things might be different now!" I grabbed his wrist. "It's alright. I'm just trying to get comfortable with you." He sighed.

"Fine, do whatever!" I squeezed shut my eyes. He rested his chin on my head while keeping me close in his embrace.

"Good night, Shou." He said. "Good night." I replied as I fall asleep slowly.
