Liam had stayed for over a week in Canada he was back at work on Monday he came to find that they had decorate for the Christmas holidays finding it nice and shinning the moment he started strolling in he was greeted some a simple hello with a smile some inquired of how he spent his thanksgiving he had was to admit it was great the week away was great too but now that he's a lot better for he will get to see his love he smile on seeing her with Monique at the desk he decided to sneak up because they were so head over in what ever conversation they were having, he didn't hear what the conversation was about when he sneak up but he sure didn't miss that about Bart moving out,
"Does that mean I can drop by later?" He asked both Monique and Amber spin around to see him smiling "Hey Mr Turner welcome back"
"Thank you miss Fuentes, it's good to be back, so what's new?" He asked "that apart from him moving out" he shoot his mouth towards Bart's office,
"Nothing new sir" Monique said
"Gregory wants to get married by the end of the month" Amber said
"So what?"
"Monique think it's too quickly"
That's not quick we still have time before the month ended
"She thinks she doesn't have the time to get enough people,
"You got so many here her family and your family your fiance's family what more do you want, you don't plan on inviting people you don't know now do you? and I'm sure my family will be here for it"
"You'll invite them?"
"Sure I will" Liam said
Monique nod and smile
"If there anything you need don't be afraid to asked"
Monique nod
He was walking away he stop and turn around "Why not let me do the invitation?" He asked
"You will do that?"
Liam nod he left them there and go to his office Monique grin that's two problems solve" Monique said as Liam said she'll invite the people she know that works here and all the other family her family, Gregory's family, Amber's family and of Crouse Liam's
"That's tree problems, the wedding dress"
"No, no Amber I can't do that I know you love that dress really really love that dress and you want to get married in it"
"You didn't asked beside Bart move out I might not get the chance again"
"What about Liam?" Amber shrugged she wasn't sure about what he wants and wasn't about to pretend she knows,
"I promise to take care of it" Monique said Amber lean over to hug her then went to her office they went to happeas later on to have dinner and work out the invitation trying to think of a style and a color "Ah" Monique said dropping her head in her palm,
"We'll try again tomorrow" Amber said they hug as they went their separate ways Amber didn't see Liam when she was leaving and had left a head of him, she came to realize he was calling she try to get him but didn't, she had not too long got home from her time at happeas with Monique took a shower and came back down when her door knocked she remember Bart had left his with the thoughts he was the one knocking but again she didn't think he would come at this hour to leave again she open the door to see Liam her mouth open wide as she look at him, "What, I did asked to come" he said "Who gave you an answer that said you could?"
"I invite myself, can I come in?" Amber shook her head and smirk she let him in he walk in to sat on the sofa "can I offer you something?" She asked
"Oh yeah" Liam said getting up to take off his shirt Amber noticed he wore the shirt she gave him she didn't want to but she ended up giving it she wasn't thinking he would wear it but he was she expect that as he was coming over, he took it off rest it on the sofa pull his pants down where his hardness was exposed he sat back down pulled her onto him pushing into her as he push a side her pantie "Oh yeah" Amber said holding her head back holding his shoulder as like him she kept turning her hips he stayed the night over there and they leave for work together in the morning ir seems he had plan to stay the night for he had a clean suit in his car she Iron them for him they got to the office together and he got latta for them both "Miss Fuentes morning "I'm expecting a eleven o'clock" he said as he sign in,
"Yes sir" Monique said writing it down,
"What happened?" "Where?"
"Mr Turner just left your latta ánd haven't said aword"
"That's because Mr Turner woke up in my bed this morning after spending the night and we ģot to work together"
"Oh so the cat is away leave the mices to play ah"
"More like a cat play to me" Amber said with a grin, she came to remember that night when she scratch him good thing it didn't take long to get better within aweek at some point they both almost forgotten it was there,
"Meow..." Monique said they both giggle Amber shake her body as she walk off to her office,
"Hello..." a voice said from over Monique she had rest her head down for a short time and was push into thinking mode,
"Oh I'm sorry" Monique said she checked the appointment and the time to see it was eleven o'clock Liam wad expecting an appointment at this time "Oh you're here for Mr Turner I'll call him to let him know"
"Actually I'm here for Monique Fuentes"
"I'm Monique"
"I'm Monica Williams I'm your wedding planer"
"My what, my wedding planer?"
"That's right miss Fuentes or do you mind if I call you Monique this way we feel more aquanted"
"Monique is fine" Monique said
"For the next nineteen days I'll be with you, your tag a long, that exclude Christmas day and boxing day, your wedding is on thirtieth am I right?"
"Yes the thirtieth That's right, but so you I can't afford a wedding planer" Monique said
"Well you don't have to worry miss Fuentes what I'm here for is paid for in full"
"Are you serious?" Monique asked the woman nod"
"Oh my sweet lord" Monique said covering her mouth,
"Amber! come here, come here" Monique said when Amber came out her office to check on her and to see if Liam's eleven o'clock has arrived
"What got you so excited?" Amber asked
Monique came from around her desk to where the older woman stand "meet miss Williams" Monique said hugging her shoulder
"Hi miss Williams" Amber said
"She's here to plan my wedding"
Amber mouth open wide she cuffed her cheek, "Oh my god... Monique you got your own wedding planer!"
"I believe I do" Monique grin
"Mr Turner" Monique call as she ran him down to the car park he was about to get in his car when she caught up with him touch his back he swing around on feeling the touch pulled out the ear plus from his ears, "Miss Fuentes hey"
"I just wanted to say thanks"
"What for?"
"For the wedding planer"
"Ah That's ok"
"I really appreciate it"
"All the best, so where is Amber she's behind I wanted to catch up with you" Liam nod
Amber picked the phone off the hook to answer it
"Hey sis" Simond said
"Hey bro, how is work?"
"I'm at home I was wondering if you were swingíng by I needed to talk to you"
"Maybe later I have to help Monique today didn't I tell you that on the thirtieth she's getting married"
"Really That's great congratulate her for me"
"I will I'll try to see if after I can stop by"
"Ok sis"
Amber sigh as she stretched herself she was feeling tired for all week she was busy helping Monique and with Christmas around the corner they were putting together care packages to give out to homes and to other children and church,
Unfortunetly Amber didn't get to make it to her parents she call Simond in getting home but he was off to see his girlfriend she didn't bother to try his cellphone so they didn't get to talk the next few days before Christmas was as if they were working at santas work shop,
Monique and Amber decided to took a small break from the santas work shop thursday afternoon to go to happeas for lunch cora had manage to drag the Goldsons out for lunch at happeas for they heard ít was developed and wanted to dine there polly didn't want to go as she had skip thanksgiving to be with her love Bart had been questioning it for since they became close they did almost all the fun things together he had asked if it was because it didn't look bright for her parents for this up coming election she had dismissed that thought from him by making love to him and taking him to a love movie his mother had called him from work to join them at lunch since happeas wasn't far from his work place, liam went for lunch at happeas as he was hoping to have the girls order for him but when he check they already left he figure because he was in a meeting neither call and with Monique wedding coming up he know that they are busy, very busy with the charity donations and Christmas is only a few days away and the party is tomorrow since Christmas will be on a Monday they decided to have the party on Friday Friday will be all about the party no work they won't have work again until the Wednesday
The very table at the entrance of happeas where you were able to see the parking lot and who came in That's the table polly and both her parents sat with Bart and both his parents having lunch Liam had just entered the building walking by when polly saw him and called to him he stop at once, Monique and Amber finish having lunch and were just about to leave happeas they had left Monica back at the office putting together a few things as they were walking out they bumps into Liam who had called to a stop by polly
"Mr Turner" Monique said on seeing him,
Miss Fuentes hi I look for you at the office"
"Sir you were busy
all day so we figure you would appreciate us getting lunch"
"Thank you I do appreciate it" he said with a smile Monique hand him the bag he took it with a nod, Monique came to noticed Bart sitting to one side of the table then she notice both is parents she pinch Amber to get her attention then point to them, Amber look and saw them they were looking at them,
"Office Mr Turner what office?" Mrs Goldsons asked as she recognize him as the hotel owner, "Oh yeah mom Mr Turner is the new boss at risk financial company"
"Oh really"
"You're who employ my son?" Cora asked
"Who is your son?" Liam asked
"He is his name is Bart Wilson" cora point at Bart "Probably I do employ your son Mrs Wilson" Liam said
Amber and Monique saw how he look at Bart he too look at Liam "Mr Turner owns that hotel in Chicago the Turner's luxurious empire" Mrs Goldsons said
"He own's a hotel?" Monique whispered in Amber's ear Amber shrug that she don't know
"I'm sure you heard her mention it before" she said to cora,
"Oh yeah for sure" cora said Liam look at Amber and Monique as they two look at cora who they could tell didn't hear them mention it
"The accommodation was excelent" Mrs Goldsons said"thanks so much"
"I'm sure it's the workers who deserves the credit, If it wasn't for them I couldn't acheive it"
"Do judge Beth Turner and Adam Turner has a relationship with you?" Cora asked
"They both happen to be my paprents
"Oh yeah I met them in Washington two summer ago"
"Oh is that so?" Liam asked
"Sir I'm going to, were going to go" Monique said
"Don't leave me now" he said yo Monique turning to the otheres at the table, "thanks for the chat, Mrs Goldsons, Mr Goldsons, Mr and Mrs Wilson, you do take care" Liam nod as he look around the table, "by the way Mrs Wilson I've been keeping up with the election watch and I'm sad to say the whites are bringing their a game to this and it might be that you and your husband won't stand a change" Monique grin as she like and the other people who turn to look, Amber pull Monique away for since those words left Liam's mouth she never stop grinning and the look on Bart's face make her grin more,
Bart watch Liam walk away he was mad as yell this was the second time polly was seeing Liam making Bart get so mad it was obvious to her it was intentional it's true that the campaign wasn't going well and she's not making any extra effort to do nothing special
"I bet he said all that to hurt my feelings" Bart complain, "I have no ídea why but from the minuteI saw that guy I couldn't stand him and I still can't stand him it's obvious I will never stand him" Everyone look at him polly was surprised he didn't use those language he did the other day she roll her eyes at him turning to look as Liam was already gone through the door
"did you see his face?" Monique asked as Liam join them in the parking lot at happeas,
"He did saw it" Amber said as she shook her head at Monique, saw when Liam smile he was sure the Wilson didn't stand a chance with this election he didn't have to say it to their faces but he did it and could tell 8t kills Bart hearing it from him, they got back to work to finish things up, leaving a little late Liam wanted to go over Amber's but she insist on him not coming over tonight luckily he didn't for Bart turn up though he was just there to get more of his stuff,
The party the next day started at midday they were treating kids as well Liam brought a santa suit and one of the guy from construction dress into it Lavette and Abigail wore a elf suit for most of the afternoon it was about the children the real party start at seven into Saturday morning for it ended around two and ad they say once it's mid night a new day began,
Amber believes in the day starting at six am Amber and Monique as always help with the cleaning after that they left for home Amber ended up getting just a little sleep as she had to be out with Monique doing things for her wedding doing Christmas shopping as today was the eve of Christmas eve older fokes have call it Christmas Adam they visit the church talk to pastor jenķins went to the recepción ground which was at Gregory's since they got a bigger yard space, they part with plans to go ring shopping next Wednesday after work, Bart got from work as he was staying by polly's apartment for sometime since he had decided to move from where he stayed with Amber when he got there polly wasn't there he try calling her when he dial her number her phone rang on the kitchen counter, she wasn't at his parents or her's he sat up until late she came in the morning saying she stayed at her girl friend he had not payed much attention to that for it's a possibility she could stay at her friend,
Liam's family came on the eve of Christmas eve as they all plan to from his parents to his smaĺlest nephew the family included sheron the mother to Chris first born for she came bringing the child
"What you doing tonight sweets?" Monique tease as she called up Amber, Amber grin "Nothing babes want to do something hot"
Monique giggle
"Seriously Amber what you doing tonight?" Monique asked
"Nothing at all, what you doing?"
"Gregory and is family are going to the Christmas eve opera house and had invited me and my parents so were leaving now, I thought you might want to come"
"No not tonight, you're ģoing to be married in the family soon stop using the third wheel" Amber told her Monique giggle, beside my brother plans to go bowling with mom and dad, so 8 might just tag a long" Amber said
"How is he doing?"
"Better I presume"
"Now that he's a working clase, I still can't believe that Roman own's an airport, and that he said Liam is his friend"
Since that day it was said to Amber by his brother she only said it to Monique haven't thought of asking Liam anything Roman had only visited twice since the party the last time he came was in september he and Anita had came around together she and Amber has share better conversation in the afternoon both herself and Monique took her and Roman to dinner spent a little time viewing the máster art gallery,
Monique didn't tell her friend that she had discovered that Anita is actually A walkins the owner of her favorite store and designed now she knows why Amber could get a free magazine each month even before the month begins she didn't buy clothes from there but underwear bags and shoe were good enough for her the wedding dress from Amber was actually from there and it fits perfectly she promises not to soil it and she wasn't going to do so for a minute,
"I still don't know" Amber said referring to what Monique mentionedabout Liam and Roman,
"One of the day we'll see about it, I hope you go bowling and have fun"
"You too have fun at the opera"
"I will" Monique said on hanging up she heard Gregory calling out from down stairs, she quickly join him downstairs as they left to go meet up with the others,
Amber too got off her butt grabbed her bag and left,
"It's Christmas eve you people why you all sitting here?" Liam asked as he came down dress,
"You're going out?" Anita asked
"You're meeting Am-ber?" Ona asked sash look around on Liam and smile
"No Amber is with her family, as I'm with mine, and... I'm going bowling if you all want to drive a long you're free, but if not see you all later" he starts towards the stairs
"Don't leave me" Anita said getting up running for her jacket they all started to get their jackets, they ended up at the same bowling as Amber and her family Amber spot Anita and wave to her, Amber saw her with a man clinging to they all together came over, they greet each other with hugs and hand shakes
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming bowling?" Liam whispered as he came up behind Amber
"I had no plan to come bowling" Amber said turning to look his way,
"So why didn't you call me when you decided to come bowling?"
Amber turn and bump in to him, "you're here did you know I would be here how comes you didn't say to me you were coming bowling?"
"It was last minute decision" liam said
"It was last minute decision" Amber said Beth turn to look at them
"Last minute ah?" He asked
Amber nod
Liam nod
Anita smile when she saw Beth shook her head
"Well we're here" Amber said handing him a bowling ball show me what you got"
"Haven't I been doing that?, that too a lot, ah"
"Ah" she said narrowing her eyes at him,
They had à very excited time at the bowling alley until Liam pulled Amber away under the watchful eyes of Beth and Debbie both their mother's
They were later found in the car park by Liam's car,
"You ģuys ran off to kiss under the mistletoe?" "Who need mistletoes? The kiss taste great without it" Liam said
"So Amber are you joining us for Christmas dinner lateron?" Ona asked
"Unfortunately no l, well my family are getting together with Monique's family"
Liam look at her he had asked her earlier in the still wishing she could be there but, "maybe she'll be there next year" Chris said
"She'll definitely be there next year" Liam said his phone soon to rang and he took it from his pocket look at it themselves a side to answer got Amber on edge, he was ready to leave at once when the phone call ended kissing Amber in her forehead the others bid goodbye as well, Monique pick up the phone after reaching over Gregory to get it,
"Merrý Christmas sweets" she said
"Merry Christmas Monique..." Amber said
"How was the opera?"
"Great, much as you don't quit get what they're saying"
"Next time you just has to listen carefully"
Monique giggle, "What say you, how was your night?"
"I ran into liam"
"MR HOT AND NICE WENT BOWLING!? how sweet" Monique said giggling,
"Yeah he was with his family"
"Oh so you all had a goodtime?"
"That was until Liam got a secret phone call then rush off"
Monique laugh "now I got it why you call so late"
"I worried for a second"
"I believe it is more than a second you worried far for here you're still thinking of it and how long had it been since you left the bowling alley some hours right"
"You're right, I am thinking about it"
"I told you, you worry too much"
"You're right about that too"
"It's gonna be alright, you know why because Liam loves you and I love you too, so I'll see you tomorrow at dinner"
"Goodnight Monique"
They hang up and Amber slide beneath the sheets for a while she lay just thinking she thought of Bart, of Liam even her boyfriend before Bart she wasn't even sure why he came up in her thoughts she got over him before she even leave him so what was that all about, she took a deep breath close her eyes she was laying on the sofa in the living room unable to believe it's Christmas few hours from now it was already three in the night she got out of bed and went to the living room she turn the lights on and look around she haven done a single thing this year for Christmas ño decorating not baking no shopping apart from gifts that was left at her parents under their Christmas tree, she plan on going there early which could be at anytime for some how she didn't feel she would ever be able to go to sleep she wondered if Liam was a sleep or where he was for the way he ran off some hours ago she think of calling him but didn't think she should call him she sat on the sofa stretched herself and for the rest of time she sat there, it was seven in the morning when she finally move she went up stairs to find her cellphone only to miss a number of calls from Liam and a few text messages, she left the phone on the bed took a shower she was going to her parents when the call came again, "You not a wake, want me to come join you in bed?" Liam asked
"Am a wake, I'm actually driving over to my parents"
"Ahhh!" Liam said disappointingly
Amber wondered if he really was
"Too bad I have some thing fantastic to share with you"
"Sorry"
"Me too, anyway merry Christmas, enjoy your day"
"Merry Christmas enjoy your day"
They hang up Liam join his family in the kitchen and Amber continued to her's,
"Christmas seems to be the busyness day of my life" Amber said with a deep sigh, as they were near to finish dinner preparation and was dying to get some rest,
"Every day seems to be that day for you Amber and for me too we're always so busy it hurts" Monique said Amber smile she has to agree especially now with all the work outside the office them again she was tired with her own problems ĺiam, Bart moving out she haven't told her parents has no plan to she was so used to them sharing the house sharing the rent with him not around the rent is going to be all on her every thing is going to be hard on her, life itself going to be hard on her but what the scene òf worrying now ah,
Polly had canceled dinner with her family as they were to invite the Wilsons over, but at final minute she decided to go a long her own business cora was disappointed when polly's mom call to cancel at home they didn't make any preparations and her house keeper left to spend Christmas dinner with her people it was no use calling for her now the senator was already engaged and the other friends she call was already full, they didn't know what else to do they have other relatives but they lives in other states and they haven't really been communicating for cora left them out thinking they will be a burden to her and her money for they didn't have any thing beside that even if they could go to dinner it was impossible late now,
Cora sigh,
"You know mom Amber did invite us to have thanks giving , I'm sure the same invitation is extended to Christmas dinner,
Cora look at her husband "it's at the peck's home" Bart said
cora look at him it was the worst option but it was the only option she thought about it, hoping it was ok to show up, "do you know their address?" She asked
Bart nod.
They were just about to sit down for dinner when the door bell knocked
"Oh bart" Ivy said as she open the door "Mr and Mrs Wilson I wasn't expecting to see you"
"I'm sorry, we're sorry to be late" Bart's dad said
"Please come on in we still got space"
They followed her to the dinning room which was the biggest place in the house the huge table almost full with three extra chairs every one sitting there were in a conversation
"Hey you all look who's here" Ivy said everyone look around Monique widen her eyes at Amber who shrugged
"Welcome" the Pecks said as they got up to shake hands with them invite them to sit Bart got a seat facing Amber she turn her eyes at Monique who pout her lips, she can't believe they were actually here her intensión was to act as if they were not,
It was conversation on top of conversation Amber was surprised the Wilsons were talking to the others so openly she left herself out as best as posible, wishing there was somewhere else to be but she has nothing to do other from this, no where to go other from here,
"I'm full" Liam said stretched himself leaning back on his chair,
"You over eat" Beth said
"Now hear you mother, I'm not agrowing man, to know when I'm full?"
Ona smile at him as he pout his mouth at his mother and smirk
"What we doing tonight?" Sash asked
"After such a long day I guess you should all go to bed early" Liam said as he reach to take his phone out his pocket he dial Amber who picked up on the first ring,
From the minute her phone rang Monique knew it had to be Liam,
"What happens tonight?" He asked
"Enlighten me please" Amber said
"I want you to come over, like now"
"No, ño way"
"What you mean no way, baby if i say you're to it means you're to don't tell me your man needs you and you're going to leave him hanging" Amber frowns sigh, "I'll be thére"
"Now" Liam said
She kill the call got up from the table, "I've got to run out for a while something happened?" Monique look up at her she already knew why, "çall me ok?"
"Is everything alright honey?" Debbie asked
"I think I left something burning" Amber said Monique fold her lips
"I'm going to leave the car keys Simond will get you guys home"
"I'll drop them" Monique tolď her don't you need to see what's going on"
"Thanks" Amber said as she hug her from behind kissing her cheek
"Yeah alright you don't even need to say it I know you love me and I love you"
Amber grin "thanks Mr and Mrs Peck dinner was ĺovely I'm sorry to be rushing off"
"Don't worry dear there will be a next time"
Amber nod she and Bart met eyes as she rush out the dinning room Monique saw how his eyes were glued to the door she cant believe they were actually hear it seems that every one else ran out on them and they didn't want to spent Christmas a lone, what surprised Monique was to see cora packages food to take home, she couldn't wait to call Amber when she got her she was still driving to Liam's place the laugh about it, "I'm pretty sure it wasn't dog food" Monique said and they grin, "how far are you?" She asked after a while
"I'm almost there now, and he's calling again, can you believe this is the third time since I ĺeft"
Monique giggle "Maybe he's just going to divé right in when you ģet there"
Amber sigh "I think he just like to have his own way"
"That's it too, but a guy like Liam wants to have his own way with me I would be rather glad" they grin, just then Amber pulled in the garage door open and she park between his two cars,
Liam took a shower and change out of his dinner close he was just coming in the living room when Millicent told him Amber just arrived he knew she would just come up, his family was still sitting there when she did she came and say hello Liam watch his entre family got up to greet her hugging her, children and all, Amber was hanging over his mother's shoulder when she saw him smile at her,
So this is what it feels like to entered into a man's family she wish at some point in time cora had greet her like this when she used to visit, she must have really believe she wasn't all good enough for her son, the son who said low things about her family the son who think it to be a shame to have dinner with her and her family but he was there now pity for she was expecting them to be with the governor ór the senator for that matter, but anyway that's not something she's going to think on now she step into Liam's arms and the feel of it was enough to drive all the unnecessery thoughts away and enjoy just the feeling of him around her sorounding her like a never ending love story.
