"Mr and mrs lopez" liam said with a smile as he shook hand with Stanley and hug Debbie
"Hey son" Stanley said
"Nice to see you mr Turner"
"Call me Liam please"
Debbie smile "liam" she said
"I'll just put these in her room" he said
Stanley and Debbie nod, he was coming out the room when he saw Simond they greet each other simond offer him a drink of whisky they sat in the livingroom for the things she came with were finish coming in liam didnt stay for long he left as he has to deal with some matters she was settling in her room when Anita call to say hi and to asked how she was they talk for sometimes before saying goodbye, Amber hang up from Anita and was about to climb in bed just then Liam called checking up on her, "I really wish you had came to stay with me" he said
"I'll come to you soon"
"How soon?" He asked
Amber chuckle, "just be patience you stubborn boy"
"I'm waiting out of that"
"I'm supper sorry" Amber said it was Liam's time to chuckle "be nice to yourself you're pregant"
"I'll be nice" amber said "i trust you to be"
They went quiet for a while "what type do you think?" Liam asked
"I don't know maybe a bóy"
"A boy!? Liam said he chuckle thinking how nice that would be his first child a boy that he would appreciate, "i want to marry you Amber"
"Haven't you said soon?"
"Yes soon I'll talk with your parents, and I'll talk to mind"
Amber went into deep thoughts thinking what if they doesn't approve their son marrying a small town girl like her who's family doesn't have money and in his family who's not retired judges are lawyers and he's a business man,
"They'll come down next weekend so we'll talk then"
"Ok" Amber said nervously
"You coming by tomorrow?"
"I can?"
"You can, you can stay in my room if you like"
"Now that's what I would like" he chuckle "so I'll see you tomorrow"
"Yes"
"Love you sweets"
"Like I've not love before, that's the way I love you"
Liam smile his heart skip a beat then thump with a ridim they said goodnight and he drift off to think of him and Amber together married and raising child a son of that matter he would love a son he's not going to tell God how his work should be done but she would be thankful for a son, he falls asleep with the thoughts,
Amber lay away thinking of Liam's family they seems like real nice people they speak to her nice and every thing but what if they don't think she's the right girl, she thought about his brother Chris who got a child before he marry another woman what if it was the fact his family didn't approve of him marrying her but then they all were together for the Christmas holidays and everyone seems to blend in, Amber finally got the chance to see who the woman in the picture with the baby was she had her doubts when she saw it the day he went away and they went down to go through his office and find it tucked away in one of the drawer on his computer he used her name to code, she wondered if it's the same password she haven't try going back down there to try and go through his things, she thought of how nice the two of them raising a child together will be if he'll be a good father the children in 5he family seems to love him a whole lot and he in return what ever secrets she 5hink him to haveshe wondered if she will be a good mother she have no babies in her family she don't know much about raising them but she have her way around children and was sure she'll do well as a mother God will show her the way and she got her mom she will help look at the two fine children she raise she always say with God's help Amber is sure it's how she is going to bring up her child with God's help she touched her tummy smooth her hand over it smiled at the fact that a life is growing inside of her young pregnancy isn't the best feeling but the greatest thing is that she will give birth to a child to another being that so for Liam, Bart didn't want a life with her he was too busy doing him doing anything his mother wants she was willing to wait him out but all he did was to give her reason to fuss with him it was all he did he moved out on her criticize her family avoid them that he didn't even want to spent time around them, Liam didn't mind coming around and when he did he's always making conversation blending in she shy away sometimes from his family glad when Liam created the space between them wanting his private time and that as make her spend lest time around,
Being around them was nothing like when she used to go around cora she has tons of questions about her family as if she didn't blend in her family wasn't of standard when ever they have something Bart make excuses not to take her since the night at the party and she met Polly she behaves as if she was to be worship she was around cora most of the time for they said she worked for her but it seems they had become new best friends for you see them together often,
Amber reminded herself of the Philadelphia trip that Bart and his family went on as he had acted as if it came up suddenly and Liam had heard him talking about it she had always wanted to see Philadelphia and truth was she falls mad with him for not taking her he didn't want to take her anywhere Always rushing to go off with them, but it's good now he didn't need her when she needed him now she don't need him, she remember the look on his face when she started packing on Thursday saying she was moving she bet he believe it's with Liam what she should had done was to go right to Liam but she will soon the look on Bart's face when he came out and saw him park at the gate way he went back in same time Monique grin about it, he didn't exchanged a word with her and he sat in the livingroom Amber had split the furniture in half but pack then at her parents house she wasn't sure if when she's moving to Liam's if she'll take any thing like those probably won't need to Liam got a lot of things over there, it was beach house so the child will be playing in sand but when ever she gets here the child can play on the lawn it's nice and smooth not many place to fall and hurt your knees that was the best part of her's and her brother's childhood they fall gracefully only if they decided to run across the street and fell then they would have a sore knee or a scar elbow, want to make her child grew up with as much love as they had they still have that love and will for ever do, she falls a sleep with a smile looking back at their childhood they didn't grew up rich but they had the grace of God and what better thing to have,
She woke up to breakfast being prepared Tamala was in the kitchen she almost for got she stayed over last night she went between her and her mother to took up a hot blueberry pancake she reach out and her mother caught her hand looking at her finger "is this a new ring?"
"Yes"
"He gave it to you?"
"He wants us to get married in April"
"April? that's a month away" Tamala said as she has drawn near to see her new wing "wow I need to start preparing myself"
"It's not too rushed?" Debbie asked
"With a baby on the way it can't be rushed enough" Tamala said Amber smirk she shrugged
"Well congratulations this time I'm looking forward to the wedding" when she was to marry Bart the wedding got put off so often Debbie wasn't looking for another case such as that it would be nice if she could get married before the baby comes
"Can you get your brother and dad breakfast is served"
Amber push her head out the back door to see them sitting out there and call for them they have breakfast her parents went to church and Simond drove Tamala home to come back shortly Amber was on the sofa when the door knocked
"Hey" Amber said when she open the door to see Liam standing there rogue was with him she wine happily at Amber she went down and pamper her, "It's so good to see you girl" she said
She stood up to kiss Liam by just reaching up her head she invited him to come in, he came bringing bags which he took to the kitchen "You're a lone?"
"Yes"
"Oh yeah" she said turning her around kissing her deeply rubbing her allover "are you in the mood?" He asked Amber ease him away "maybe later" Liam frowns and left her
"I brought some goodies"
"You didn't have to"
"I have to you're my fiance and you're taking my child so I'm to do everything"
"So can I quit my job?"
"You wouldn't want to I'm only allowing maternity leave that's it"
"What about gossip at the office?"
"You have to talk let them"
"What about Bart?"
Liam laugh "you still worry about him"
"Not in that sense, but about his job"
"I'm sure if he is intrested in keeping his job" Liam said
Amber knew he's been saying he was going to quit and go work with gis parents but they were no longer in power so she no longer knew what he's going to do, Liam has no intentions of letting him go even if he don't want to work in the òffice here he could work in Chicago he is more than willing to give him a space there within a few months the office will be ready he wasn't going to say it to Amber but will have a talk with Bart,
Liam and Amber were together in the kitchen when her mother came in the door, "Honey something smells good you're cooking?" Debbie asked but realized her daughter wasn't the one standing by the stove but Liam she smile, "wow Liam dear what ever you are doing smells good" she went to peek in, "What is it?"
"Lambchop strew with green beans, vegetables and Spanish rice"
"It smell's really fantastic"
"Thanks Mrs lopez" he said with a smile,
"Wow... that must be tasty for it to smell so... good" Tamala said as she walk in with Simond
They both smile when they saw Liam cooking,
"New chef" Simond said
Liam nod "and dinner is about to be serve"
"I'll see to the table Simond said Liam brought over the first dish to lay on the table before he turn to get something else his phone rang, Amber look up, "my mom" he told her but Amber kept her heads up "Hey mom" he said Amber heard the woman's voice but didn't hear what she was saying, he chuckle then he said "I'm at Amber's so I'll call you later" he look over at Amber "Yes she's fine" he didn't tell them about her pregnancy but nosey Anita did she went running off with his business and since they had called to asked he told them about the marriage proposal it was only last night he was saying to Amber that he'll talk to them but before he could get off his bed, his couch as he had slept in the den over night, they were all on line he wasn't expecting his mother calling again now, "every one is" he spoke to her àgain, "my mom said to say hello" he told them
"Hi" they all said
"Mom I love you" he said before he hang up, he bring all the other plates to the table then sat "my family is excited about the baby, my mom especially" liam said with a smile Amber ĺook at him, "your first child?" Debbie asked
"Yeah it is, my first real relationship too"
Amber look at him he took her hand "and that is why I want to get your permission to marry your daughter"
"Say what!? Woots" Simond said
Stanley look at Debbie with a smirk, "you got my permission" he said Debbie nod Liam nod Simond smile with a nod Tamala grin leaning side ways to hug her,
"And we're hoping to on the seventh of next month"
"Next month?" Simond and Stanley asked
"We want to before the baby comes" he said reaching to rub Amber's belly "I already talk with my family and now I'm talking to you"
Debbie nod
"So when will the planning begin?"
"I have some 8ne who will take care of it starting tomorrow"
Monique picked up the wedding dress that Amber had loan her from the cleaners it was as if it haven't been used she had said she wouldn't let anything happened to it and she lived up to the promise she said since she has nothing doing she'll just drop them off the door to the front knock Debbie went to get it
They were sitting in the living room together Amber look up when Monique walk in they both grin, Monique sat next to her touching the bag, "It's as good as new" she said Amber didn't expect anything to be wrong with it but she's worried it might not fit her "well try it later" Monique said Amber nod they got comfortable together and chat going through some off the things Monica talk about with them Anita plan on bringing her wedding shoe next week for she won't get to come to dinner tomorrow they had planned for dinner at Liam's but according to his mother the brides family should host the dinner they had went off to shop earlier and her parents put something together they had sat down to talk as they too got some time to rest
They got up and went back to the kitchen this time Simond and Tamala help leaving Monique and Amber together they sat just focusing on the wedding talking of other things,
They were still together later on they both had joined the others in the kitchen for Monique decided on staying
Liam called, Amber rest
The bowl on the counter to take his call "can I come over?"
"Monique is here and she's staying the night"
Liam frown "why her man isn't home?"
Amber laugh "It's just for tonight" she said
"Hi Amber" some one said it sounded like Ona she came on the line and talk for sometimes before saying goodbye for Liam was gone after his brothers, he texted later while Amber and Monique were laying down he didn't test for long it leave them with longer time and space to tal, "why you not staying for dinner?"
"No when I was getting married and have dinner with my inlaws you didn't come"
"That maybe true" Amber said
"So what did your ex-fiance say about you and the boss getting married,
"He hadn't said ànything, what is he to say anyway"
"You're right he would be seeking to close the gate too late the horse long gone through"
Amber laugh
"I'll see you at work tomorrow"
"Yes thanks for coming"
"And I'll come again"
"And I'll appreciate it just the same" Amber said in return they both grin and share a hug,
Amber walk with Monique to the door to see her off, she went to the kitchen after Monique was done dinner was being prepared liam and hìs family came at three a hour before the actual time which was four simond offer drink and he refresh them with conversation Amber could hear them laughing
"Well your brother sure knows how to entertain" Tamala said Amber grin Debbie smile
"Well I'll go freshen up" Amber said after setting the table
"So will I" Tamala said
"Might as well" said Debbie leaving the kitchen a head of them the potatoes were finishing in the oven as they were baking so far everything else were finish, "we're near set" Debbie said "just give us some time to freshen up"
"Oh dear take your time we're not here on any rush" Beth said Adam agreed Liam look up at Amber as she went by him, "you going to freshen up too?" He asked
"Might as well" Amber said
"Need any help?"
"I'll manage"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes very much sure" she walk away
"Can I come watch you freshen up?"
"Don't bother"
"Just like that you didn't even think about it?" Ona look at him and smirk and saw when sash looked at the both Amber flash her hand and walk away Liam got up and followed her anyway the others exchanged looks when he left the spot,
Amber was before her closest when the arm came around her and her shoulder kissed she lean back in him and grin "You don't give up do you?" She asked
"Not that easily I'm a stubborn boy who doesn't take rejection very well" he said
Amber turned into him her palms braced against his chest in a slight pushing gesture he smile lean in and kiss her what she can't get tired of having him do, his hands slid over her but cheeks grabbing  them lifting them as he squeeze on her he deepen his kiss what now became sexual she let him as he lift her blouse to suck on her breast he step back removed his shirt pulling it òver his head holding her once more he slide her shorts down to claim her flesh in her palm his finger  digging  deeply inside of her he pay her down one his pants pulled  himself out pushing  between her open,
"Stop" she said drag herself from beneath him, "maybe later" she said getting  off the bed she took her things off the floor going into the bathroom took a quick bath then came back in the room Liam was still there, he was laying on his back in the attire he was after trying to make love to her his top naked his pants open and his thing laying out he has his eyes close he haven't move since she came into dress she was finish and he was still laying there Amber sit on the bed next to him she touch his chest he open his eyes and look at her,
"I'm done" she said
"Go a head I'll be there, just need a little time to cool off"
Amber look down and saw he was hard wish she had that type of feeling now, she went out and left him for fifteen minutes he stay there before getting back to the others they were about to gather for dinner in the dining room he took a seat next to Amber they turn and look at each other he widen his eyes at her she held her head down,
"Well the food looks delicious" Liam said Amber  looks at him
"Yes it does" Beth agrees
"Smells great too" she added
"And I'm starving, I've been starving for other things as well but don't worry it'll eventually go away, but I have to eat right" Liam said looking at Amber she lift her head and found him to be looking at her she then turn quickly, Amber knew it's to the fact he's not getting to have sex with her why he's saying that, everyone seems to know that is  the reason for the way they all look at her, she knew it's a while and he didn't act angry but she knew now that he is, it's not that she's perilously holding back but it's just the way her body feels,
"We will eat right away, before you starve any further" Debbie said gracing the table right away, everyone giggle when she was finish Amber look at Liam his face didn't even held a smirk, but in time he started talking with everyone his face change and he was even laughing, "Debbie I must say how much I like the space  I couldn't help noticing the front space it's beautiful" Beth said
"Yes it is" Liam added "I was saying to your daughter the other day about the children having space to run around when they visited"
Amber look up at him wondered why he kept saying children,
"Yes it was why my husband and I chose this house we thought  of the children"
Liam nod Amber look at him and caught his eyes he turn away,
"What type are you thinking?" Tamala asked looking from Liam to Amber, they both frown but did give an answer,
"When I gave birth I want a son definitely a son so he can become a pilot just like his dad" Tamala grin hugging Simond,
"You're a pilot?" Ona asked
"Yes"
"Yes" both Simond and Liam answered at the same time, "He's employed at Edward's international Airport"
"Oh so you must be is new employee he mentioned the other day"  Debbie said with a smile, Amber look at her about that she haven't for gotten it's Liam who got Roman to employed German brother Simond said they are good friends but she have not learn from either of them  how they came in a relationship, 
"That must be me" Simond smile "I hope I'm doing something that please him if he's talking"
Debbie smile "maybe you're, he find you to be a wonderful employee I hope you see the same ìn him being your boss"
"Roman is a good man" Simond said "but thanks to Liam for introducing us"
Debbie nod
"That's my son he's ever looking out for someone" Adam said with a smirk Amber look at him it was as if he felt her eyes turn and saw her looking then turn away,
"That's true" Debbie added "he and Roman been friends since childhood he brought Romance to us and his family became apart of ours"
Amber choked grabbed some napkins from the table and cough into it, every one looked at her, "you okay sweets?" Beth asked getting up to give her water
Amber nod "thank you" she said dryly she took the water and drank "I'm ok" she said
"Are you sure?" Beth asked
"I'm sure"
Beth sat back down, Amber look at Liam he was looking at her they eyes each other for sometimes before both turning away, Beth tell the story Amber was surprised that he was the one Roman tell about in that email he sent to her when they came in contact by social media he was right there when they read the story, that night when Roman came to the party she and Monique thought Liam found him because they mentioned him at the meeting, she imagine how her friend going to get excited about this she has so much love and confidence in him wait till she hear that it was his help that get Roman where he is now, she wonder if the approach he took to get her brother the job was you owe me one, or the reason for Roman hiring her brother it's because he owe Liam a favor,
"The boss told me how close they are" Simond said when Beth was finish speaking "I'm really glad when he gave me the job with no second thought glad Liam talk with him for no place was calling"
"Nothing happens before the time my son" Stanley said
"And you know brother in law always come through" Chris said Shane nod
"When we met I didn't know he was my brother in law" Liam said
"Where did you met?" Shane asked
"At some bar while out having a drink"
"You've become a regular bar guy haven't you?" Chris said laughing as Liam had told them how he met Amber, Shane, Ona and sash laughed Beth,  Debbie, Stanley and Adam look at them, Amber look at them them to Liam who smile at her for the first time since what had happened earlier in the bed room, "Well I'm done with bars, and street corners done with every other means for I've found the love of my life" he said leaning in to kiss the side of Amber's eye sinking his lips on her, Debbie smile feeling pleased this here seems it's really going to work for her daughter saying to herself it got to there's a baby on the way, Simond and Tamala smile as Tamala lean in him watching Liam and Amber"
"I for one is very happy for this" Beth said
"Aren't we all" Chris said "yeah" Shane said
Liam smile,
"About the wedding, no one mentioned the wedding and it's mainly why we're here"
"What more to say about the wedding?" Liam asked
"We are all in agreement for the time and settings?" Beth asked
"We're all on the same page our wedding planer is in the right track it's all  going well" Liam informed but they touched on the topic a little, dinner was finish dessert serve Amber had left most her food on her plate but have dessert chocolate peanut butter cake Liam had brought over, ona and sash help Tamala to clean up leaving the others talking as they had head back to the living room,
Liam took out his phone to look at the time, "Ahhh ah" he said stretched as he got up, "Are we leaving now?" He asked
"You're leaving?" Beth asked
Amber look at Liam and saw him nod,
"But why it's not even that late and the conversation is so good"
Liam frowns he walk to the door Amber got up and followed  him out the others followed as well, "you not staying?" Amber asked
"NO!" He said almost angrily and every one heard it in  his tone of voice but because they speak privately they didn't say anything they all stepped off the porch, "come on kids get in the car" ona said speaking to all, "stay for what?"
"What you going to do when you leave?"
Liam lean close to her as he was about to speak,  "It can be anything" he said ease back Amber look at him he turn and walk away bidding the others goodbye they watch  him to his car ona grin he just went and sat in the car to wait for the otheres they said their goodbyes  as well then left, Amber went inside to sit back down, the others came back in to sit with her but she wasn't in the mode to talk instead she just went off to her room, Liam remained quiet for the drive home though  his mother was trying to indulge him in to the conversation she was having with his dad, Amber try calling he look at the phone but ignore it, his mother look at him after viewing the phone her eyes widen the picture he save there for when she's calling Beth said nothing they got to the house leave them in the  garage went to the living room took his shoe off to lay down laying with his hand over his face,
"Hey bro you're good?" Chris asked on reaching up to the living room,
"Mmh" Liam said his cellphone  rang he took it up and open the line but didn't speak,
"Liam" Amber call
"Yes" he answered
"I was calling you before"
"I was driving"
"So you're home?"
"Is that your concern I'm home?" He asked refused to answer
"you're mad at me aren't you?" Amber asked
"What for did you ďo me something?"
Amber didn't answer she sigh,
"I'll call you tomorrow" she said for it didn't sounded as if he wants to talk,
"Yes have a goodnight, mind already started bad so I'm not looking forward to it getting better" they look at him,
Beth beckon to Chris and Shane not to trouble him but to let him be,
He hang up hissed and sigh, "Goodnight Liam" Beth said
"Goodnight mom, good night everyone" he said before anyone else speak Goodnight they all said in unison
"Good night uncle" the children said he sat up to hug them putting  a smile on his face,
Amber lay 9n her back looking our of space she didn't want him to be angry at her she can tell he is she heard it it took her some time to fall a sleep but was up early she have breakfast and hurry off to work, Monique was there waiting in the drive way when she got there just then Liam came "Mrs Peck he said hugging Monique  who grin widely, he smile at her looking over at Amber "miss Lopez " he said Amber wave, they both watch him walk away going across the street to get his latta, Monique look at Amber after Liam was gone, she questioned with a motion of her hands "He's carrying sexual feelings"
"He's not, you're not giving him any?" Monique asked Amber shrugged "oh come on! Amber if it's even a little to suit his soul"
"Liam soul can't be suit with little amount of sex  his sexual urged is too big"
Monique laugh
"Ahhh" Amber said as they walk to the lobby,
They were getting on when Bart board it with them he got on stand with his back to them Monique open her mouth and giggle Amber bounce her she covered her mouth, Keith came on on the third floor and talk with them until they got off ahead of him as he was going to the engineering department
They were signing in when liam came up he said nothing apart from greetings to Bart "Mr Wilson" he said
Bart nod Amber look at Monique and Monique at Amber
Bart was hoping to talking to him about his resignation since he was quitting for it was going to be uncomfortable working in such space knowing that he was once engaged to Amber ànd now she's with the boss talking marriage she had gave him back his ring from the other day and he notice she wore a much more expensive one she haven't told him about the wedding but he heard talks of it, he wasn't trying to look like a jack horse though he might have already  to some people, he didn't say anything he turn to go to his office,
Amber turn to go to office "We'll talk later" she said
"Yes let's really talk" Monique said Amber nod and went her way,
Liam sat in his office an entire morning just thinking and moping over the sex he wants so bad he desire some love he's over emotional at this stage, confuse angry for he was he need some love the last time he got some he had to fight for it and it can't work like that all the time, he give up on the rest of the day got up to leave office just as he was leaving Amber came across to the desk he was turning around when they bounce on each other,
"My apologies I hope you're not hurt" Amber shook her head, he went around her and she saw him board the elevator
"Did he just sigh out?" She asked
Monique nod
Amber shrugged
"He's a man you know and with the desire you said he has I think he is really upset for it"
"I have not a clue why I'm not feeling for it"
"Do you really have to how a bout letting him just do him" Monique suggest Amber wasn't sure but was going to try she thought of going over but she believe in calling first she got home greet the family Tamala and her parents for Simond wasn't yet home, she went and took a shower then call him he was just pulling in the garage for he had meet up with Roman for a drink and conversation,  his family call just as he park and got out he  head straight to the pool room pour a Scotch sat down and talk for some time,
Amber had her warm and as soon as her stomach could take it she couldn't wait on Simond she was still at the table when he got home and he a long side their parents and his girl friend Tamala ate while Amber just sat there,
Liam  sigh as his head rest back on the poolside chair he had just got off his phone with his family on three way they were telling him about the flight asking how he's doing, he seems to be doing the very same he haven't gotten between Amber's legs yet and that's killing  him, he's been up in his feeling all day and was confused for a while he ignored the phone when he saw Amber calling he then answered took five minutes before  his echoing words came, "What's up?" He asked
Millicent had heard the car but because he didn't come to the kitchen and she heard his car nearly two hours now  she went
to look for him,
"Mr Turner you're home goodnight sir" Amber heard Millicent greet and rogue with her usual friendly bark and whine happily, Liam reach to pet her though  he didn't speak to her Amber knew he did, "Hey Millicent" he said
"You're just reaching home?" Amber asked
"I'm just reaching home" he lied 
"And you left work so early" Amber said
"So?" Liam asked "what you want Amber?" He asked
Millicent look at him kept her eyes and ears open,
"I wanted to see if you were coming by"
"No I'm not"
"Should I?" She asked
"No don't stay home" he said Amber grit her teeth on the sudden refusal "I'll see you tomorrow" he said and kill the call he sigh heavyly rest his palm over his face and kept it there,
Amber heard her sister in law calling and try to wipe the tears but she came before she could
"Ýou OK?" Tamala asked
Amber shook her head "it's liam" she complained
"Let me guess you're not giving him any and it's what causing the problem"
Amber nod,
Tamala held her hand "I know what they're like when they got caught up emotionally Simond and I each time of the month" Amber smile, she doesn't want Liam mad at her for sex bit what to do he's already mad àt her, it's just to fix it now hoping the feeling will come back especially now that the wedding is getting closer.
