HEADS UP: THIS CHAPTER IS IN FIRST PERSON.

                  _______________

24 years has gone by and I've achieved  the complete opposite of what I've initially planned for my life.

Not only am I pregnant without owning a single penny in my name apart from the millions of dollars transferred into my account every month by Deontay, but I'm also married to the worst possible human being on planet earth.

As the car turned into a familiar area,I finally knew where I was being driven to.

Indeed,I was right. The party was being held at one of Deontay's luxurious hotels.

The nearer the building came into view, the more visible the crowd awaiting for my arrival become clearer.

A few seconds later, I was walking the red carpet that led to the entrance with my father in law who, stared a second too long at her cleavage when he opened the door for me.

Man are such lustful savages.

I wore a perfectly planted smile while I kept walking trying my ultimate best to ignore the vultures who were looking at places they shouldn't be all the while praying not to trip on my own two feet.

Who was I to get pressed about it anyway, the dress left little to the imagination.

I scanned the crowd, and not a single face I've come to remember.

Who were these people?

Although I could of sworn I nearly tripped when my eyes landed on the pair of eyes that appears in each and every nightmare that I've had.

My heart rate started speeding up,the loud thumbs audible in my throat.

I was nearly in arms reach when I swallowed down my parched throat.

I inhaled deeply, wanting my nerves to come even the slightest down.

I dropped my gaze, unwilling to look into my tormentors eyes as his dad put my hand in his and started  to walk away.

In it held the power to make her cower. To want to run away and never look back and most importantly, make the earth want to swallow me and disappear without a trace. His eyes were deep dark hole, readily available for her to fall into at any given time.

At once,I looked up. Not caring whether  his eyes managed to consume me or not.

What she saw took her breath right out of her.

His eyes were narrowed down to slits and were almost completely black, the nothing kind of black.

She couldn't suppress gasp that escaped her red painted lips.

"What the fuck are wearing?", he sounded scary, even more scary than the last time he sounded scary.

I remained silent. What could I say?

This isn't my fault but yours.

I wasn't trying to get my cheeks red, so I swallowed my words.

"You're not deaf Juliet!", he said. His voice raising an ounce higher.

If it wasn't for the odd stares they were getting from the very curious guests, I would've still kept my mouth shut.

"Lets get the party started shall we." I said through gritted teeth and made an attempt to walk away from him only to fail miserably as always.
