CICERO

      I haven't seen Cicero for a week now ever since the hallways scene and I feel bad for rejecting him.

   I hardly left my room unless I needed to eat or drink.

  Andrea and Marco kept me company for the whole week and I was grateful but I felt empty.

    I got up from bed and left the room to at least eat something.
The door to Cicero's study which was on my floor was left ajar. I felt the urge to get in. But he wasn't back from his mission.

  I wanted to get in but stopped when I heard voices. I got closer to the door to listen. Honestly, I had to eavesdrop.
"Don't you think Cicero's getting too involved with Izzabelle?" the first voice which sounded like Dice's voice said
"I think so but I don't want to meddle in Cicero's business. You know how mad he can be when we go against him" the second voice sounded like Giovanni's
"I ain't listening to that fucked up shit. She's diverting his attention slowly. Who knows, if she continues like this we wouldn't be able to get Cicero to give us what we want. We have to eliminate her or something" Dice said

   I felt like flying in there and dishing my mind and as I was set to get in, someone held me. I turned sharply to see Leo.
"Don't" he whispered
"Bu-but"
"I understand but don't do anything....now," he said as he pulled me away from the hallways to the garden
"Why didn't you allow me to at least teach them a lesson?" I retorted and he began laughing
"Wait! you? Teach those guys a lesson? That's a death battle and it's very impossible. I didn't allow you to go there because they were going to kill you. Cero and I already know that they are snitches and want to sell Cicero. So you've got to be careful" he finished
"Speaking of Cicero, why are you here? Aren't you suppose to be with him?"
"He said I should stay back that he could handle it and besides he has other men with him. He also wanted me to protect you and Andrea"

    Does he care?!

"Ohh!"
"Yh and be wise too"
"I will... Promise"

  I said as we both got into the mansion. I was missing Cicero even if I didn't say it.
  Leo and I sat down in the living room while Andrea, Dice, Marco, and Giovanni joined us. Since I was informed that Dice and Giovanni were snitches, I saw them differently.
"Cicero's not around how about we have some fun? After all, we could protect ourselves right?" Dice said and Giovanni accepted followed by Andrèa. Leo and I looked at each other
"When the cats' away, the mice will play" Giovanni smirked as he looked at me
"That's true. Let's have some fun" Andrea chimed

   I felt like this wasn't going to end well but as the saying goes 'opportunity comes once in a lifetime. When Cicero's not around, I could go out now.

  We all accepted but Leo didn't look Convinced. He stood up immediately
"Andrea and Izzy are coming with me and you guys can deal with yourselves. Si?" Leo said and Dice looked angry.
"Fine!" Marco said as the three of them stepped out.
"We are gonna use Pedro as our ride okay?" he took us out

  We were heading to a club that Marco addressed us to. Andrea kept entertaining me about Leo and what he likes but I wasn't interested because my mind was on Cicero
"We're here," Pedro said as Leo, Andrea, and I stepped out and got into the club. It was big and classy and catchy. Well-to-do people filled the place. Strippers did their job.

  I wasn't just feeling right. Leo and Andrèa wandered off while they told me to stay close. I went to order a drink when I saw the blonde that tried to kidnap me at the conference meeting.

  Our eyes locked and she turned away immediately. She began behaving strangely as she got up to leave. I followed her as she moved quickly. She got into the rest room and I stopped at the door when I brainstormed that if I entered there she might kill me so it was best to stay safe. I turned back and strutted to the table that had Leo and Andrea on it. Leo was gambling with an elderly person that looked dangerously dangerous.

   They were seriously in a heated match of gambling and it didn't look healthy at all.
"Leo let's go... Please" Andrea begged but he didn't budge
"I'll get to the end" he frowned

The older guy he was battling with had a mark on his wrist that said Red Demons and that wasn't Cicero's mark I'd seen on him, Leo and Andrea
"Leo!" I called "Let's go home now"

  Before I knew it, the two of them stood up about to fight when the old man removed his pistol about to shoot Leo but Leo removed his too

"Leo!" I screamed

  Other men from different angles pointed the gun at us.
"Hope you know that you are in the lion's den. You cheated and do you know what I do with cheats?" the man growled
"I kill them or burn them alive," he said and shot the ceiling prompting the others to shoot too. The hall was in commotion.

   The elderly man grabbed Andrea by her neck and pointed the gun at her temple
"Put your gun down or I shoot her"

I knew this wasn't going to end well.

I didn't want anything to go wrong so I told Leo to put the gun down for Cicero's sake and he did.

   We were now surrounded by more men. Leo was hit by a gun as he fell. I screamed as my hands were tied behind me. A gun was pointed at my head as they persuaded the three of us to move ahead.

  Leo tried fighting but they kept beating him up. They pushed us all using the back door which ended us in the parking lot. It was lined up with huge black cars.

  Andrea bit the old man's hand and he yelled. She began running but a gun was fired
"Andrea!" Leo yelled
  She fell to the ground as she held her arm that was bruised.
"Don't play smart" the man said as he threw us into different cars. I began panicking. Two huge men sat on each side of me
"Boss we got three of them. We're heading now to the hideout" I heard one say

   I wish Cicero was here.

I was in the first car. We drove into a tunnel and I don't know where tears came from but I began crying and all of a sudden, tear gasses were thrown into the middle of the road that caused a great commotion.

  All of the cars stopped, hitting each other. Everywhere was damn white as the thugs went out. I began coughing seriously and my panicking began. I fought as hard not to close my eyes but I couldn't hold it anymore. I heard numerous gunshots. I couldn't shake from where I was.

   I couldn't hold back anymore as I began closing my eyes.

"Belle! Belle!" I heard the familiar voice. My vision was blurry but I saw how he removed the gas mask from his face and he placed it on mine.
"Cicero?" he nodded as he untied me and carried me out into his jeep where Andrèa and Leo were already.

    Though Leo was bruised he drove and Andrea sat in the passenger seat while I sat on Cicero as he hugged me tightly.....

  Who can guess the main bad person in this book?

Is it Dice? Giovanni? Sylvesto? Reynaldo? Fabio or Drex??  😈😈
