His Kisses and Tears

Napamulat ako ng mata nang maramdaman ang pag-alog ng aking hinihigaan.

Wait, I'm alive?!

The ceiling looks so familiar. I tried to get up but I suddenly felt the pain on my waist. I pulled my shirt and saw the part where I got stabbed has bandages. Bumalik na lang ako sa pagkakahiga.

I remembered now, someone was there who saved me. And his voice was very familiar. It was Nion's. I can't be wrong.

Am I inside the Veronica right now? Did they came to rescue me?

This room is Lexus', I knew because I used to sleep here when I accidentally ride this ship.

I wanna get up and see if I am really right. I panicked when the door opened. I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep.

I heard heavy footsteps towards me. I felt a familiar presence in my side.

I tried to look like I am really sleeping for this someone to not notice. Seconds had passed until I felt a soft thing touching my lips. I was shocked knowing that someone is kissing me right now!

Shit!

I wanna get up and slap this someone but my body refused. The kissed lasted for five seconds then I heard some sobs. Until I felt liquid dropping on my cheek.

"My Queen.....I'm sorry. I'm sorry for being so late. I shouldn't have doubted you..." it was Lexus!

He's crying. He hold my hand and pressed it softly. I don't know but my heart's beating so fast hearing his words.

I don't know what he's saying but I can feel his sad emotion. His voice were shaking. Why is he crying? And why did he kissed me?

"I know it was you but I was eaten by my doubts, I'm sorry. I miss you so much that it made me alone every night, my love."

"Now that you're here with me, I won't ever let you go again. I miss your kisses, your smile, your laughter, I miss your hugs, my Queen. Please don't leave me again..."

His words were very deep that made me want to cry too. What is this feeling, it made me responsible for making him felt so alone.

Why Lexus? What am I to you? We're both strangers right? Why?

I badly wanted to open my eyes and asked him but I stayed still to listen to his words more.

"Our kingdom is waiting for you, Veronica. Please go home with me, I promise I'll love you more than what I did before. I'll spend my whole life with you. Just please don't leave me again. It made me sad, my love." he said again.

The moment he called me Veronica, it gave me goosebumps. Like he used to call me with that name before.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang nangyayari. Why did Lexus suddenly acting to me like this? Did he saw me as Kapitana Veronica?

"I'll wait until you open your eyes, my Queen. I will stay here by your side...."

Hindi niya binitawan ang kamay ko. Gumulo ang isip ko dahil sa mga sinabi niya. Sa huli napag-desisyonan ko na ring imulat ang aking mga mata.

"My Queen," agad siyang lumuhod sa harapan ko at tinitigan ako.

"Lexus? Nasaan tayo?" agad kong tanong.
