I paint a little and well I saw a book that this girl posted about her drawings and paintings and it kind of inspired me to post my own. I don't feel very confident about my paintings and I'm kind of hoping that showing them to everyone on here will encourage me to keep painting and learning more about art.

This is a story older than Time itself. Long ago, when the gods were still shaping the world, a 'cosmic tear,' a comet named Alpha blazing with stellar light, fell from the heavens. As it tore across the firmament at terrible speed, a small fragment broke away and plunged into the endless waters of the Ocean. The sea cast it ashore so that it might rest at the bottom of the 'sacred cavern' on the very edge of the world: the place where everything begins and ends. Ever since, Alpha has pulsed here with unearthly energy, binding all that is in water, on earth, and in the sky into one harmonious whole.
