Chapter 42- Pictures

I was jolted awake by the sound of a loud noise, Jake immediately poked his head out of the bathroom,

"Ugh sorry babe, I didn't mean to wake you," He said coming over to the bed and sitting next to me

"It's ok," I looked at the time on the clock, "My alarm was going off in 5 minutes anyways," I sighed rolling over and wrapping my arms around his waist "What are you doing up so early anyways sir?"

"I'm just really excited," He smiled softly, almost blushing

"I think it's hilarious that I was so nervous to tell you and you are so happy," I said giggling, "I really didn't think you'd take it this well,"

"Well, I'm not going to lie, I was super shocked at first but I'm starting to lose all the fear and get excited about it," He said laying down and cuddling me,

"Well I'm glad, I'm excited too, I just wish I didn't feel like garbage," I said "I'm sure I look as bad as I feel too,"

"Nonsense, you look beautiful as ever," Jake said pulling me closer and kissing my forehead, I smiled and blushed before rolling my eyes

"Thanks but you have to say that, you're my boyfriend" I said sitting up, Jake just laughed

"I'm serious, I think you look great," He said as I walked to the bathroom, "especially from this angle," he joked, I grabbed a towel and threw it at him, he swatted it away as he laughed "I'm kidding, you do truly look great babe," he said coming into the bathroom as I brushed my teeth, I gave him a look through the mirror as he hugged me from behind. "Do you want me to make you anything to eat before we head to the appointment?"

"No, I'm ok, thank you though," I said as I finished brushing my teeth. "Have you been downstairs yet?"

"Yeah a couple times, why?"

"Have you seen Sam?" I asked as I changed clothes

"Uh, no and when I went out to get more wood earlier his car was gone." He said, giving me a concerned look. I nodded, "He knows what time the appointment is right?" He asked

"Yes, I told him like three times yesterday," I said looking down

"Well, you'll have me there." Jake said turning me around and pulling me into a hug, I gave a little smile,

"We should actually probably get going, it's like a 20 minute drive," I grabbed my bag and headed down the stairs, I was met by Josh and Rhiannon sitting in the living room with Karen and Kelly.

"Where are you kids off to?" Karen asked,

"We just have some errands to run, do you need anything while we are out?" Jake replied.

"Actually can you pick up some champagne for the new years party, we need to get some before it is sold out everywhere," She requested. I had forgotten about the New Years party,

"Sure thing mom, anything else?"

"Yes, make sure you get anything you boys want to drink like beer or stuff like that, I know your friends aren't all going to want champagne." Jake nodded as we headed out of the door. Once we got in the car I gave Jake the address to type into his phone.

"Can you share the address with Sam please?" I asked quietly, He nodded, typing a bit and then setting his phone down to listen to the directions. He backed out of the driveway and off we went down the road. Jake was quiet at first, holding my hand and humming to the radio, occasionally turning it down to hear his phone.

"Oh my gosh," He paused, I looked at his face as he got a look mixed with concern and excitement, "Sloan, what if it's twins," I felt my eyes get wide, Jake laughed at my reaction, throwing his head back,
