Chapter 31

I woke up and looked around the room. It was empty and I sighed, I was alone. My stomach rolled, and I groaned as yet another wave of nausea came over me. I was getting tired of this.

"Hey, Abby!" The guys (minus Louis) walked in the room.

"Hi."

"Where did Louis go?" Liam asked.

"I don't know, he said he would be back soon." I shrugged. "He also said you guys were leaving soon."

"Yeah, unfortunately." Zayn sighed.

"Oh, Liam!"

"Uh, yeah?"

"Louis told me you have a girlfriend now."

His cheeks turned a light shade of pink and he looked down. "Her name is Amber."

"Aww you're blushing!"

"No I'm not."

"Tell me about her."

"She's shy, but I was talking to her and she's really funny, and she didn't mean to. She's also really pretty and wonderful and amazing, and she's a huge fan, which is fun." He sighed happily.

"That is really, really cute, Li."

"Thanks."

"Is she tall or short?"

"She's short."

"Aww. I bet you two are the cutest couple. Well, aside from Louis and I. We're too awesome for words."

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay." The door opened and Louis walked in the room and waved.

"You're up!"

"No, you're hallucinating."

"Ha ha. You're so hilarious." He said dryly.

I nodded. "I know."

"Feeling better, I see."

"A little. Not much."

"The doctor said that when you're moved out of the ICU, you can get up and walk around if you feel up to it."

"Sure."

"You sure?"

"Well I'm not out of the ICU yet."

"Tomorrow you will be." Harry grinned.

"Finally." I sighed. "So where did you go, Louis?"

"Just out."

"Well that's not vague at all."

"It's not. You hungry?"

"No."

"You should eat."

"But I don't want to eat."

"I don't care what you want, you NEED to eat."

"Would you eat if I made you?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at him.

"Yes."

"No you wouldn't, and we both know it."

"As amusing as it is to watch you two banter, Louis is right, Abby." Liam said.

"Oh poo."

"I'll get the nurse." Louis announced, walking out of the room.
