Omniscient POV

Hours passed by, and the sun was starting to rise.
Everyone's night had ended perfectly, except from Jesse's.

The drunk man kept picturing his girlfriend, doing something he'd never expect her to do, in bed with another man.

What he had witnessed several hours before stirred up some kind of sadness in him. He'd never thought this, but it was karma for his infidelities.

He now knew what betrayal felt like.

He was deep in thought as he poured the contents of the third bottle of whiskey down his throat.
There was no one else to blame, but him.

Jadon had woken up from his sleep, and gazed a little at the woman next to him, snuggling up closer to her sleeping body.

He wrapped his arms around her, nuzzling her neck softly as she opened her eyes and they met his stare.

"Morning." She greeted him with her sleepy voice.

"Morning Beautiful."

"Did you sleep well?"
She asked, placing her hand in his.

"Yeah, I was knocked out. Did you?"

"No, I woke up in the middle of the night."

"Why?"

She shrugged her shoulders before replying,
"Anxiety, you know."

"Next time wake me up, I'll comfort you."  Jadon said lowly.

"And how will you do that?"

The young man flashed his pearly whites,
and she instantly knew what he meant.

"You only have one thing on your mind."

"Yeah, but it's your fault. You're too sexy."

Melissa rolled her eyes at her boyfriend, dragging herself out of the bed and tying her robe around her waist.

And Jadon copied shortly after, giving her a hug from behind.

"Let's go make something to eat."

After breakfast, the couple had settled on the couch, just enjoying each other's company before Marcus
would return.

It was a little after 10am that he finally showed up.
He joined Melissa and Jadon, and began to tell a little about his date.

"You seem to have enjoyed whatever happened last night." Melissa laughed.

"She's a really nice girl, you know."

"So where did you meet?"
