THE POGUES ALL GOT ON THE HMS POGUE. Jj sat next to mel and wrapped his arm around her. Jj had been thinking a lot about melody since the florida trip. He talked to pope about it and he said that he probably had a crush on her. He had noticed that she had been more tense lately. He wasnt wrong, ever since she found her dad she had been very paranoid that taylor would find out. The pogues were concerned when mel showed up with a bruise the size of a apple on the side of her face but she made something up and they seemed to belive it. Jj kept sneaking glances at her, everyone noticing exept, melody
"mel, are you going to midsummers?" kie asked, hoping that she wouldnt have to be alone.
"yep, i got my dress a few days ago" she answered. "what does it look like?" jj asked from beside her.
"its long, a light green, statin with spaghetti straps, its really pretty" she described it and kie's jaw dropped,
"girl im wearing a light purple, long, spaghetti strap satin dress!" she said and melody smiled. "i think i saw the one you got at the place on 56th?",
"yeah!".
"pope are you working with your dad?" kie asked. "yeah, hes making me serve."
They spent the day laughing, smoking and swimming in the marsh.
