"Well, why don't we just take the party back to the rooms then?" Sam asked. "Is that cool with everyone?" "Yeah, I'm cool with that. Already made my rounds with the ladies," Brennen replied, wagging his eyebrows. "Yeah brother, whatever. I just don't want to stop drinking yet," Jake said. Corey laughed and high fived him. "Okay, so when the girls get back, we'll just go ahead and leave. Maybe stop by the closest liquor store on the way," Sam said. "Sounds good," I replied. I was down for more partying, if I could be sure that Anna was safe. "They did go to the ladies room though, so...we should order another round. They might be a while," Corey said. We all laughed, and agreed. He wasn't wrong. By the time the girls came back, we were almost finished with those drinks too. I watched Anna, through my very tipsy brain, walking back with two of my best friends and felt my heart swell. They were holding onto one another and laughing so hard that they were crying and falling over one another. "Well damn, we thought we were going to have to go looking for you ladies," Sam said, winking at Katrina. "The line was soooo long," Anna replied, holding her arms apart to try and show us how long. "We had to wait foreveeeer." "Is that right?" I asked, lifting my eyebrow. She nodded. "Mmhmm, and then," she started laughing again, and the other two followed suit. "And then, the toilet moved when I tried to sit on it! Can you believe that? How does a toilet move?!" Kat and Tara were dying by this time, laughing so loudly that they almost drowned out the booming music. "She was-" Kat started, but then had to take a deep breath and wipe her eyes. "She was stuck in the corner of the stall, with her legs up and underwear down!" "I CAN'T BREATHE!" Tara exclaimed, leaning over, holding her stomach against the pains of laughter. "Sounds like an interesting adventure you ladies had," Brennen replied, grinning. "I'll say," Jake said, holding out his hand to Tara. She took it, still laughing, and sat down in his lap. "It moved!" Anna exclaimed again. "I didn't know that they could move!" "They c-can't!" Kat yelled, breathlessly. "But it did!" Anna cried. "I don't know what kind of futuristic shit you guys have nowadays, but it fucking MOVED! Toilets didn't move in my time!" Yep, I should've thought about the loose lips part of being drunk. I stood up, ignoring the way that the world tilted just a little, and darted to her side. "Okay, that's enough for now," I said, wrapping my arm around her waist. "Why don't we take the party back to the rooms?" Anna pouted, sticking her bottom lip out and looking up at me with those big emerald eyes. "But I'm not ready to stop," she whined. I smiled down at her and shook my head. Drunk Anna was definitely different. "We're not stopping. Just moving the party. That way we don't have to worry about anything and can just have fun. Okay?" "Party in the room!" Tara yelled, throwing her fist up, and laying a kiss on Jake. "Mmhmm," he murmured, and wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her closer against him. Katrina giggled. "I'm not sure those two will be joining us. They may take the empty room for a while." Jake pulled away from Tara and shook his head at Kat. "Nuh uh! We're partying! I'll kick you guys out of the room later." "Bullshit!" Sam exclaimed, raising his eyebrows. "More like I'll kick you guys out later." He grabbed Katrina around the waist, and pulled her into his lap. She started laughing when he nuzzled her neck. "This is going to be an interesting night," Brennen mused, watching everyone. "Maybe we can play strip poker. It's been a while since I've seen Colby in his underwear." "Bro!" I shouted, with a laugh, kicking at him. "Huh?!" Anna exclaimed, looking from me to Brennen, with wide eyes. Brennen started laughing and shrugged. "Hashtag Brolby." I rolled my eyes at him. "Strip poker..." Anna murmured, looking up at me with an unsure expression. "He's just kidding. We aren't going to play Strip Poker," I reassured her. She pursed her lips and didn't reply. "Alright, if we're moving then let's get it over with," Corey said, standing up. We eventually got everyone upright, and moving out the door. "Damn it, did anyone call an Uber?" Sam asked. "Shit," I mumbled, and took out my phone. I set up the rides, and let everyone know that they were close by. "It shouldn't take long," I said. I noticed a few shady characters standing about 20 or so feet away from us, so I pulled Anna closer to my side. What I didn't expect was for her to latch onto me, like a damn leech! Her arms went around my neck and her hands disappeared into my hair. Her soft lips pressed against my neck, and I had to hold back a groan. Surprise rocked my body, and a hiss escaped my lips when I felt her teeth nip my skin. "Shiiit," I groaned, and pulled back, so I could look at her. She just smiled up at me through her lashes and giggled. She was, quite possibly, the sexiest thing I had ever seen right then. Her cheeks were flushed from the alcohol, her perfectly done hair was coming loose, and a little sweaty. Her skin had a glow to it, and the body glitter was shining under the street lights. Her dress was slightly wrinkled, and hoisted up, since her arms were around my neck. The thin fabric did nothing to hide the feel of her body against mine. "Jesus Christ," I whispered. "What?" she breathed out, the giggling having died off as I stared at her. "You're gorgeous," I replied, like it had just hit me exactly how lucky I was. She blushed, making the red in her cheeks even more prominent. She had a tiny freckle on the side of her cheek that I had never noticed before. How was a fucking freckle sexy? I felt a part of myself growing more prominent too, as I held her gaze. I knew that she felt it too, when her eyes grew wide, and she glanced down in between us.
