Chapter 117-Everyone will pay

Sighing I kept my hand on her back and she turned to me.

"What happened, Siya?" I asked her softly.

She just shook her head and looked down.

"Don't you like this place?" I asked her.

"It's...different" she said, looking at me.

I chuckled and asked "good different or bad different?"

"I...I don't know" she said and looked down again.

Taking her hands in mine, I said "you can tell me about anything, Siya. How you feel, if you like something or not or if something or someone is bothering you. I promise I would never judge you."

She looked at me and said "you won't judge me?"

"Never" I said and kissed her knuckles.

Taking my hands back, I gave her a smile and looking at Mark, said "I've arranged for your accommodation in my penthouse only. I hope it's fine with you."

"Of course, sir and it would be better if I stay with Siya ma'am 24*7. After what happened with her, I don't want to take any risks" he said.

"He'll be there with me?" Siya asked and I nodded, looking at her.

"Why?" she asked.

"To take care of you" I said.

"But you said, you would take care of me" she said with tears brimming her eyes.

"Oh god, Siya" I said and slid her on my lap.

Quickly pulling the partition up, I kissed her forehead and cupped her cheeks.

"What happened, baby?" I asked her softly, putting a stray strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Are you going to leave me?" she asked in a whisper, looking at me with so much innocence.

"Never baby, I'll not leave you" I said, taking her hands in mine and kissing her knuckles.

"Then why will Mark take care of me?" she asked with doe like eyes.

Her question made me confused but then it hit me.

She's thinking that I'll leave her alone and Mark will be around her, not me.

"Oh baby, Mark will be an additional support, in case I need someone to be around you. Believe me I'll always be with you" I said and kissed her nose.

"Promise?" she asked.

"Promise, my baby" I said.

She gave me a faint smile and kept her head on my chest.

After few minutes, I felt her steady breaths indicating that she was asleep.

I don't know why she dozes off so often now.

There're a lot of things that I need to discuss with the doctor.

Sighing I kept my chin on her head but not before kissing her head once.

"Mark, do you think I should tell about Siya to Sid?" I asked him, out of the blue, pulling the partition down.

"To be honest sir, I don't know. It should be your call who tell about Siya ma'am but considering the fact that Sid sir works with you, it would be difficult for you to hide about her" he said.

"You've got a point. Moreover, he's my best friend and I don't want to hide anything from him" I said.

"Whatever suits you sir, I'll follow your instructions" he said.
