"Give me a chance, baby." He whispered pulling her in by her waist, placing a hand on her cheek; Y/n stared him down, much hatred in her eyes. He leaned in and just as Y/n made him think that she was giving in and just as their lips touched, Y/n kicked him in the nuts and back-hand slapped him, making him fall to the ground groaning in pain. Y/n quickly saved her work and shut her laptop off before rushing out of the room, she shoved it in her bag as she turned the locker and zipped up her bag. She rushed off and when she got far enough turning another corner where she bumped into Sam, yet she was looking behind her as she saw Josh limping and looking around.

"Y/n! Woah, you okay?" Sam's calm voice that quickly turned to worry startled to her, she looked at Sam.

"S-Sam..." She mumbled, she looked around and took Sam into the bathroom's. "J-Josh... h-he- he tried too—"

"Shh, it's okay. Take a small breath, come here." She said opening her arms, Y/n set her bag down carefully and walked into Sam's arms hesitantly; she rested her head on her shoulder and Sam patted her back. "It's okay, baby. What's wrong? Talk to me." Sam whispered to her,

"J-Josh... h-he likes me... a-and tried-tried too- he tried too kiss me but I-I kicked him in the balls and slapped him..." Y/n explained as tears threatened to fall, her face covered with pain. Sam pulled away to look at her and saw the pain in her eyes, her body trembling.

"L-Love your shaking—"

"I wanna go home... But I don't at the same time, I don't want to go home. I don't like my mom, she's mean. She's r-really mean..."

"Y/n, breathe—"

"I-I don't want to go home." She sobbed out as she covered her mouth, tears falling down her face. Sam wrapped her arms around her, Y/n breaking down in them as they stayed there for 40 minutes. Sam not minding but Y/n feeling as if she was a burden to Sam.

Sam rubbed her back and kissed her forehead.

"Come with me, love. We're gonna go, and after you feel like your ready, I'm gonna take you to your favourite restaurant." Sam whispered in her ear, Y/n nodded her head and removed her head from Sam's neck; she turned to the mirror and quickly wiped her tears, after a few seconds of taking a few quick breath's, she looked as if nothing happened. She wiped her eyes one last time,

"Let's go." She muttered grabbing her bag and walking out the bathroom, Sam walking fast after her.

She wrapped her hand around Y/n's connecting their hands together, Sam wrapped her right arm around Y/n's upper right arm while resting her head on her shoulder.

"You okay?" Y/n asked in a soft whisper.

"I'm worried about you." Sam admitted, "I just want you to be okay..." She continued.

"I know you do." Y/n whispered. "It's okay, Sam..." She continued to whisper. "I'll be okay."

"I know you think that. But I want you to say it... and actually mean it." Sam told her which Y/n clenched her jaw at, almost as if the truth of the world had slapped her across the face. The two walked out, no one asking any questions as they were all in class. Sam got in the driver's side and as Y/n got in the passenger's side. She leaned the chair back slightly and put her seatbelt on.

"I'm sorry for... being a bother—"

"No, it's okay, love. It's fine. I wasn't feeling today anyway." Sam assured her. Y/n nodded her head staying silent as she stared out the window whole time not saying a word, letting Sam talk as she would listen. They arrive at the restaurant and the two girls went in, Sam used the phone to call someone that Y/n wasn't sure who but she sat at the table and continued pick at her skin or itch the back of her neck, creating small marks while looking around her as a few people kept staring at her which she was used too but since her social anxiety was bad enough, it wasn't helping and it simply couldn't go ignored.
