"How'd you save him?" Natalie asked.

"Shooter was about to open my classroom door who he was leaning against, I managed to chuck a bottle, I think it was on the right side of him so he started going that way." Y/n heaved out,

"What about you're teacher? Is she okay?" Heather asked but Y/n's silence was enough for her to confirm that she was dead. She was the only teacher who understood Y/n and wouldn't give her into trouble since she was understanding. "Oh, come here." She whispered and pulled Y/n in for a tight hug. Y/n hugged her back.

"I-I have to go, I have to go..." She mumbled as she pulled away but Heather immediately tried to pull her back.

"What? No... no, you have- you have to stay-!"

"I can't, I physically can't." Y/n said to her and started to move back, Heather started to get up with her but Natalie stopped her and tried calming her down as Y/n left with a crying and panicked Heather.

"S-She's going t-to hurt herself! We have to stop her, we have to stop her Nat. I-I can't lose her-"

"If anyone can pull of a badass move. It'll be Y/n. Just breathe. Let's trust her-"

"I need her to be okay..." Heather cried out in a whisper, Natalie continued to hug her and held her close.

Y/n was walking down the long corridor and peaked into every classroom that was on either side of her, she saw a few people trying to leave but were being stopped by teachers. She felt bad for the guys and the girls attempting to leave to check on their friends but they knew that it'd make no difference. There was still someone here, and recently. Y/n had been overthinking so, she was thinking this was a good idea.

She heard a gunshot randomly,

"HIDING FROM ME NOW?!" The man shouted at the top of the corridor as there was a small indent of the corridor and a corner that she could hide in. She looked to see her friend, Jeremy. She covered her mouth as tears built up in her eyes. She was now angry. She grabbed the first thing she saw and sneaked behind the man, she punched him in the back of the head and kicked the gun out of his hand, she then snuck behind another corner as the man hadn't seen where she had went as it was during the black lights. He grabbed the gun and waved it around while covering every single look on where she could've went, he walked past her and didn't see her, she tripped him up making him fall and then rushed off quietly down the hall near the canteen that she had run past, she snuck into the kitchen and grabbed the phone.

"Hello, my name's Y/n L/n. There's a shooter in (name of school), we could really use some help. Of the top of my head, I'm saying at least 5 dead-" A gunshot was heard and a scream then another gunshot, "5 dead and 2 probably dying right now. We need help." Y/n explained.

"Ma'am, there are already people trying to get inside-"

"Work. Faster. I'm in the kitchen and I'd say that he's around the Gym which is through the cafeteria, down the hall, down a few steps then on the left will be a small in to a hall and to the right would be another hall." Y/n explained quietly as she didn't hear anything after that.

"Okay, thank you. We are trying to help out, try not to move-"

"K, bye." She hung up and looked to see the shooter walking towards the kitchen using the back exit. She groaned slightly and grabbed a knife then hid behind a cooker station, she glanced to see him come in and quickly started to move around. She got to the bottom as he got to the top of the station, the man knowing where someone was in there and Y/n knew that. She knew that she was about to get caught. She saw people quietly exiting with SWAT directing them.

"You know, Y/n. You think you're so good at sneak attacking me like that..." The man started and Y/n's face furrowed, 'how does he know her name? ' she started to move slowly around as he moved closer toward where she was just at. She now got to the top as he got to the bottom, she quickly snuck up behind him stabbing him in the leg causing him to shriek with pain, she rushed out of the kitchen and into the toilets nearby and saw girls hiding in the open,

"Go, go, hide in the stalls." Y/n instructed. "Now." She ordered and they all started to move, she got in one but then heard another gun shot but not a cry, someone came into the room.

Heather was outside trying to go back into the school but a police officer was stopping her,

"My girlfriend, she's-she's still in there! We have- we have to do something! It's your job to protect people! How have you still not figured anything out-"

"Heather!" Bishop exclaimed and hugged her but Heather shrugged him off of her,

"No! Don't touch me! You should've tried more to stop her!" Heather angrily shouted at him,

"I-I tried-"

"You didn't! You didn't try hard enough." Heather spat at him, "I'm glad she checked on me but now I can't help but think that she's dead!" Heather cried out and Natalie grabbed her and took her further away from the building.

Y/n knew it was the shooter,

"T-They shot me... they-they shot me..." He mumbled to himself, his voice sounded so familar... she simply couldn't figure out where she had heard it before though. There was a small sound in the toilet next to her.

The shooter opened the door next to her and heard the girl pleading but the shot was heard and she fell to the ground, there was a loud thump so if she wasn't dead from the shot, she was dead from hitting her head off of the toilet, Y/n covered her mouth. Eyes forced shut,

"Anyone else in here?!" He exclaimed. He let out another shot at the ceiling this time and Y/n flinched at this.

She looked underneath the door to see him leaving, she waited a minute or two and then left, she went back to her class to see almost every classroom evacuated. There was no one covering the side-gate and Y/n saw the shooter limping his was around the back, she snuck out around the back and made her way toward him, she tackled him to the group after a small breath and started to hit him over and over again, he grabbed the gun but she hit his elbow and forced him to point it at himself. He smirked at her as she took his mask off to see the worker from the cafe that she always went too... he was drunk. She saw him move the trigger.

"N-NO!" She exclaimed but it was too late, he shot himself and she moved off of him and sat there staring at the body. She went back outside and went out the front with her hands up as the SWAT had swarmed her. "H-He shot himself..." She shakily let out and Heather rushed toward her, the two cried into each other's arms. Heather more than Y/n. Tears were simply falling down her face as she directed the officer's on where to go. Heather fully crying though.

Y/n shivered as she was so cold and felt so guilty, her eyes were stuck on the floor and Heather kissed her but nothing back, she pulled away,

"Y/n...?" Heather questioned, Y/n's eyes snapped up to her. "I'm sorry... I-I should've went with you-"

"No, no, you shouldn't have... y-you shouldn't have. I'm just glad you're okay." She sighed out,

"Me too..."

The end.
