Emily's POV
I left JJ to put Mara to sleep and I went back out to the living room. Those two have a close bond and since it was Maras first night in her new room I wanted JJ to be the one to tell her to come get us if she needed anything.
I sat on the couch still in the clothes that I had worn out today, I don't know exactly when I'm supposed to get the call from Collin, I just hope it's soon. That way I don't have to keep worrying about it. If the DNA test comes back as negative then everything will keep going as normal but if it comes back as positive then I will need to tell JJ then she will need to tell her mom and then we will need to tell Maya.... That's a lot of need to tells...
I picked up my book off the coffee table and laid on the side of the couch until JJ came back out and plopped down next to me
"Hi baby" I smile and kiss her head as she lays down next to me
"How long do you think she will stay asleep?" I ask her
"I don't know, I hope more than an hour" she sighs
"I love you, and despite what you think you're doing an amazing job, we can call the pediatrician tomorrow""l I tell her
"We can do that" she says and she relaxes on me
"Go to sleep," I tell her and she nods, her eyes already asleep,
Since we were on the couch I was handing off a little but as long as JJ was comfortable I would be fine. She hasn't gotten much rest, I kept my hand on her back, while she slept and I soon followed

A little while later, it didn't seem like that long a crying sound filled the apartment, waking JJ up and she quickly sat up and headed back to Maras room
JJs POV
Once I heard Mara wake up crying I hurried off of Emily and made my way to her room, walking in her face had steady tears falling down her face
"Oh Mara" I whisper and she reached up for me as soon as she sees me and I put her in my lap, noticing her pants were wet, looking back on her bed a wet spot. Her nightmare must have caused her to have an accident
"I sorry" she cries and I just hold her close to me move the hair behind her ear
"It's okay, it all okay." I tell her
"I s-sorry" she says still crying and holding onto me
"Mara baby it's okay. It was an accident. We'll get it all cleaned up and you can sleep with me and Emily tonight" I tell her and she holds onto me and Emily comes in
"Everything okay?" She ask and I stand up with Mara, her front against mine and he legs were hanging on either side of me while my arm under her bottom kept her from falling
"Can you throw her blankets in the wash?" I ask and she notices Maras accident and takes all of her blankets to the laundry room and I pace Maras bedroom until she calms down
"Mara sweetie look at me" I say and she looks up at me with tears in her eyes
"We need to clean you up, can we jump in the shower quick?" I ask and she shakes her head and just keeps crying, the embarrassment, tiredness and now the fear of the shower is really working her up
Sighing I walked to her bathroom and turned the shower on. I know she isn't going to let me put her in there.
"Mara we need to get you clean so you don't get a rash" I tell her and she shakes her head. I put her down on the vanity and pulled her shirt over her head
"No no no" she cries
"No hurt" she says
"Mara look at me. Look at JJ" I say and she does, her blue eyes meeting mine
"I'm not going to hurt you. We need to get you clean and we can get into a new pair of pajamas" I say and she shakes her head, I picked her up from under her armpits and had her stand on the vanity while I removed her wet bottoms and took her to the shower while she was kicking trying to get away
I just held her close to me and stepped in with her, I was still completely dressed but she clung to me and stopped thrashing, I put her down and she cried but allowed me to wash her body off quick, as soon as we were done I yelled for Emily to bring us two towels
I wrapped on around Mara and took my now wet clothes off and wrapped the other around me and picked Mara back up taking her into her room to get her a new set of clothes out
She stopped crying and sat on her mattress while I got her new pajamas
After getting her dressed and taking her to our room I quickly did the same, putting on a t-shirt and sweat pants and crawled into bed with her
"I sorry" she whispers and I kiss her head
"It's okay. I'm not mad. It was an accident and it's all taken care of" I assure her
"Emmy mad?" She says quietly and I smile at the nickname
"No baby, Emily's not mad" I say and she nods
"Promise?" She ask
"I pinky promise" I tell her and she smiles and yawns
"Go to sleep Hunny," I tell her, brushing her hair behind her ear and Emily climbs into bed with us
"I love you" she says and kisses the base of my neck
"I love you more"
Emily's POV
Around 3 O'clock my phone started going off and I rolled over to find it before it woke JJ or Mara
"Fuck" I muttered when I realized I left it on the dresser. I got up quickly and answered it. Both girls still asleep
"Emily Prentiss" I say groggily
"Emily it's me, Collin. I'm sorry to wake you but you said to let you know as soon as possible" he says
"Yea no it's okay just tell me"
"The two DNA samples you gave me ran positive for biological sisters"
