"Mmm.... Yeah, a little. But don't worry. I'm fine"

"I'm fine Jungkook"

"Can't you leave-"

"We've already spoke about this"

Being different from other days, I avoided his eyes.

The eyes which always made me forget about everything.

The eyes which I always wanted to see desperately.

None of us spoke. We both stared at the busy street view beneath our feet.

Hopelessly.

"Have you ever loved someone?"

He asked out of the blue which made me look at his face, for the first time of the day.

'Yes, finally I'm loving someone. You'

"Maybe"

"Then, have you ever felt the need of protecting them?"

'Have I ever felt the need of protecting you?'

"Yeah"

"Can I tell you something?"

I wished something.

I wished something for the first time after my dad's death.

I started wishing things because of him.

"What?"

He held me by my arm and made me look into his eyes.

"I love you Hana"

'I love you Hana'

Jungkook said he loved me. The person I've been loving.

A wide smile crept across my face.

He said the three simple words which hide a deep meaning behind it.

The three simple words which have the potential of changing someone's life completely.

And yeah, hopefully it did.

It did a change within me. My whole soul filled with the drained out happiness. The only thing which I've been searching for years.

It filled my soul.

I'm happy.

I'm so happy that I'm smiling like crazy in front of him.

'I love you too'

My mind screamed.

"Hana I love you. And I need you to be safe. You're getting hurt right in front of my eyes and I can't do anything. Can you even imagine how crazy that is?"

I didn't answer. Instead I hugged Jungkook tightly with a wide smile on my face.

I felt his hands wrapping around my waist and we stayed like that for a moment.

Forgetting all the pain, which we decided to hide behind our smiles.
