Staring at this promise ring that Heeseung gave me last night makes me blush.

Hindi parin ako makapaniwala na binigyan niya ako ng promise ring, I thought he will proposed to me agad agad but no. He's patiently waiting for us both to be ready in married life.

I smiled as I reminisce what happened in the past, on how did I ended up with him despite on hating him.

"Yvette." tawag niya sa akin. Nabalik ako sa ulirat nang marealize na sobrang lapit namin sa isa't isa.

"Oh my gosh, Heeseung! Why are you so..." gulat kong sabi.

Natawa siya sa reaksyon ko at binigay ang isang bouquet ng bulaklak, "I love you po." aniya saka kinuha ang kamay ko kung saan naroon ang promise ring niya saka iyon hinalikan.

I laughed as he laughed too. We ate lunch together saka nagpicture for memories.

While driving, kinuha niya ang kamay ko at hinawakan iyon. He intertwined our hands while he's driving saka ngumiti,

"I want to spend more time with you from now on." aniya.

Ngumiti din ako, "I'd love to spend my time with you forever." banat ko.

"Until eternity, mahal ko."

The next morning, we took our board exams. Tahimik kong sinagutan ang mga katanungan kahit na sumasakit ang ulo ko dito.

Inaantok pa ako dahil napuyat ako sa kakareview, hindi rin muna kami lumabas ni Heeseung ng isang buong linggo para ilaan ang oras namin dito.

"Heeseung pogi." aniya saka nagtaas taas pa ng dalawang kilay habang nakangiti.

I laughed so hard dahil sa kakapalan niya ng mukha, but I can't deny the fact na gwapo nga siya.

I stretched my arm nang matapos akong magsagot sa board exam, masyado akong nangawit sa kakasagot ng mga katanungan, and I prayed na sana ay pumasa ako para naman makapag trabaho na akong lisensyado.

"Garcia...Garcia...Garcia..." tingin ko sa mga listahan ng mga pumasa sa board exam.

"Ayun! Yness Vermette...Yness Vermette..." nanlaki ang mga mata ko at nayakap ko si Daddy na nanonood ng tv sa tuwa.

I kissed his cheeks saka tumakbo kay Mom para halikan din ang pisngi nito, they are all asking me what happened at tuwang tuwa ako.

Pinakita ko ang phone ko, "Mom, Daddy, I passed the board exam! Finally!"

"Oh my gosh! Seriously?!"

Pinakita ko sakanila ang pangalan ko sa listahan, sunod kong tinignan ang mga pumasa sa Civil Engineering at tinignan ang pangalan ni Heeseung roon.

"De Dios...De...Oh my gosh!" I exclaimed. "Heeseung passed too!" maligaya kong sabi.

We celebrated because of passing our board exams, and it's time now to go back to the reality of life. Heeseung smiled at me, and kissed my forehead as he congratulates me.

"Congratulations, mahal." aniya.

I hugged him, "Congratulations too. We did it!"

There are so many things needed for the interview, job application and more. Halos mabaliw na ako sa kakahanap ng mga documents ko dahil umalis sina Mom and Daddy for a while for some business trip.

Magulo na ang kwarto ko at ang kwarto nina Mom dahil sa paghahanap ko. Napabuga ako ng hininga dahil sa pagod sa paghahanap. Itinali ko ng bun ang buhok ko saka binuksan ang aircon dahil pawis na pawis na ako sa paghahanap.

Heeseung called and he said that he won't be able to meet me at dinner since nag aayos din siya ng mga gamit niya.

"Saan ka mag a-apply niyan?" I asked.

"I don't know, maybe I'll start muna sa mga kakilala ko." he said. "I'm too nervous because I don't know. Baka di ko ma reach ang expectations nila sa akin." he said.

I pouted, "Mas nag aalala nga ako eh, baka dahil graduated lang ako sa La Salle kaya ako kinuha, but I think stills and intelligence really matters the most in Education." sambit ko.

I heard him sighed, "You love to overthink things, bakit kaba ganiyan? You should think na makakaya mo iyan, ikaw pa." aniya. "And if there's something that you want to open, to rant, and if you want some help, never think of anyone else dahil nandito lang ako parati para suportahan at alalayan ka."

Those words made me feel at ease, bigla ko tuloy siyang na miss. We kinda often see each other dahil medyo busy na, but whenever he's free ay pinupintahan nya ako o di kaya'y tinatawagan.

"By the way, we're going to fetch our parents in Korea." He suddenly said. "Pagdating nila rito ipapakilala kita ng personal."

"When?" I asked.

"Later I'm going to meet Kuya in the airport. Then by the next two days doon ang flight namin paalis."

Nalungkot ako bigla, "So ilang araw kayo doon?" I asked.

"Maybe a week or two?"

I sighed as I miss him so bad already, and right now ay aalis pa siya at hindi kami magkikita mg personal sa loob ng isang linggo o higit pa.

He texted me that he's with Attorney Justin na, they are on their way to their house in Manila saka ako tinawagan.

"Hi baby, I missed you."

I smiled, his voice feels like home. "I missed you too, and I'm going to miss you every single day especially kapag nag punta kana ng Korea." I said.

He chuckled, "Hahaha, no you wouldn't miss me. I'm going to call you every minute." tawa pa niya.

Napatawa rin ako the moment he started his jokes and meme faces. I waved my hand to Attorney as he appears behind Heeseung.

"Oh, I've got a mail." biglang sabi ni Heeseung. "Oh? Kuya!" tawag nito. "Pinapatawag tayo nina Tita Dianne sa bahay nina Lola for triple family celebration daw." aniya.

Nakita kong binasa din ni Attorney ang nakasulat, "By tomorrow? Isn't it late notice for the both of us? Parang biglaan ah."

Sumang ayon silang dalawa sa biglaang triple celebration sa kanilang pamilya, katapos ay hinarap ulit ako ni Heeseung.

"Wanna come?" he asked me.

Umiling ako, "Family celebration nga diba. Ikaw nalang muna." sabi ko.

Ngumuso siya, "You're gonna be part of this family too. Anong mali ngayon doon?" I rolled my eyes as I feel the kilig again.

"Ikaw na muna, saka nakakahiya naman na inihanda iyan para sainyo."

We argued about that for minutes hanggang sa sumuko na ito. Pumayag siyang hindi na ako sasama at uuwi nalang daw siyang maaga pagkatapos.

"You promise to wait for me ha." he happily said before we end our conversation and take our rest.
