Maaga akong nagising kinabukasan. Madilim pa ang kalangitan at halos nakakabingi ang katahimikan. Marahil ay tulog pa ang karamihan o 'di naman kaya'y nagsisimula palang bumangon para sa panibagong araw.

I covered my mouth using my palm and yawned. Sitting in front of my vanity, I continued to put light make up on my face. Inaantok pa ako. I couldn't sleep well last night matapos ang nalaman ko.

I will never believe that this is just a coincidence. I'm sure he's up to something. He might be trying to gain my trust again kaya bigla nalang siyang sumusulpot kung nasaan ako. Iyon din ang naiisip kong dahilan sa palabas niya kagabi.

Seriously? Does he really think he could get into me using the same tactic? I exhaled through my mouth and smirked a bit in irritation.

I stood up and grab my black Chanel flap bag. I looked at myself through the mirror one last time before finally leaving my condo.

Nang makababa sa basement parking, naroon na ang isa sa mga family driver namin. He opened the door for me.

Sinipat ko ang sasakyan ni Aedion na naka-park sa malapit bago sumakay. I reminded myself to look for another place to stay tomorrow.

Nawala ang antok ko kaya inabala ko nalang ang sarili sa paghahanap ng condominium na malilipatan habang nasa biyahe. I found some that passed my standards. I noted it para matignan ko ng personal bukas.

Isang oras din akong naghanap bago nguling makatulog. When I woke up, papaliko na ang Van sa Acosta Hotel and Resort kung saan magaganap ang photoshoot ko.

The said photoshoot is for a swimwear collection of a famous brand. Bagay na bagay i-shoot malapit sa dagat. Especially here at one of the most famous at pinaka dinadayo ng mga tourists na Hotel and Resort ng mga Acosta. For it offers, not only a calm and quiet surroundings dahil malayo sa siyudad at busy roads. It also has such a majestic view of the vast crystal-clear sea.

The CEO, Nicole Acosta herself welcomed me at the lobby. Both of us smiled before greeting each other with a short hug.

Nicole looked at me from head to foot after breaking the hug. Ngumisi siya.

"Your new hairstyle suits you," she said and combed some strands of my hair.

I smiled. "Thank you. Kamusta? I didn't expect to see you here. Akala ko nasa Manila ka,"

"May pinapa-renovate kasi ako dito na kailangan bantayan, and it's summer! Marami ang dumadayo ditong turista at mga nagbabakasyon kaya maganda rin na narito ako."

I nodded. Pinasadahan ko ng tingin ang lobby at napansing marami-rami nga'ng tao ang narito. I can even see how crowded the pool is from here. Most of them are foreigners.

"Isa pa, may naaasahan na akong mag-aasikaso ng Manila branch ngayon,"

I turned back to Nicole. A malicious smirk painted her lips. Napakurap-kurap ako nang humakbang pa siya palapit.

"Guwapo," she whispered meaningfully.

Nagkatinginan kami. She smirked more at me and even moved her eyebrow. Umiling-iling ako.

"Ikaw talaga, 'di ba malapit ka nang ikasal? Pag nalaman ni—"

She gasped and slapped my arm lightly, cutting me off. "Ano ka ba! I'm telling you he's guwapo para sa 'yo, hindi sa akin!"

"Ha? Bakit para sa 'kin?" natatawa kong tanong.

"Malamang single ka," she rolled her eyes then smirked again. "Fan na fan mo 'yon! Tuwing pinapalabas 'yong mga commercials mo sa may lobby, tutok na tutok siya!"
