Anna

I opened my eyes and smiled when I realized that I was still wrapped in Isaiah's strong arms. I moved my head onto his chest gently and looked up at him. I smiled at him calm, sleeping face.

He looked so peaceful and harmless when he was asleep. His hair was wild and his mouth was open slightly as he took deep, even breaths.

I couldn't help but admire him. I looked back down and smiled and blushed at his bare, muscular torso. I absentmindedly traced the curves of him build.

"Having fun beautiful?" A husky voice that sent shivers down my back asked. I looked up to see Isaiah smirking down at me. I blushed bright red.

"Sorry." I mumbled, worried he was mad.

"Don't be. I actually didn't mind." He said, smiling and bringing me closer.

I giggled quietly and sighed happily, snuggling closer to him.

He looked at the clock and moaned in complaint.

"What? I asked.

"I have to go. But I don't want to move. I want to stay like this." he whined playfully.

I looked up and kissed his cheek. "Go be Alpha. Ill be okay up here."

"Are you sure?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I nodded and smiled. He laughed and got up. He pulled on some shorts and a muscle shirt and gave me a kiss before leaving the room.

I was over run by guilt.

I had lied to him. My mate. My other half. And I lied to him after one day. I hide stuff, and now, lying.

I am about the worst mate that this poor, amazing guy could have been stuck with. Maybe the Moon Goddess is punishing him?

'I love you. And don't be saying any of those things. We'll talk when I get back.'

I face palmed. He was a powerful Alpha. We couldn't go back and fourth with strong mind links and things like that until he marked me, but he could do simple things like that command when he was in his wolf form. I walked to the bathroom and sighed.

"Im sorry." I whispered. I cut off any possible mind link.

I looked on the counter an saw a package of razors. I took blade out and started marking my arm. I started sobbing and his the blade under the sink.

I ran into the room and curled up on the bed, carful not the let blood get on the sheet. Maybe after some sleep I can clean it up before Isaiah comes back. With that thought, I drifted into sleep.
