Chai P.O.V
We eventually stopped laughing and stood up off the dirty ground. We walked for what must have been another half an hour. It began to get dark about 20 minutes ago and I could tell sky was starting to get worried. We were actually last but I didn't say it because that would just worry sky even more. I put my arm around her shoulder and pulled her close and tight to let her know I would protect her. Sky got away from my grip to go and sit on a tree stump, she put her head in her hands. She was hiding her tears. I quickly ran over and crouched beside her,
"What wrong" I asked
"We are lost in one at has been labeled as one of the top 10 biggest forests in Britain, its getting dark, I'm cold. I just want to go home" she said
"Top 10 biggest?" I asked confused
"I was trying to search a map on my phone and it came up with that... That was when I had a bit of signal" she told me
"Nothing is going to happen to you whilst I'm here, anyway. Let's make it an adventure" I said trying to reassure her
Matt P.O.V
"You ready?" I asked Charlotte
"Yeah" she said and came bounding down the stairs . I took hold of her hand as we stepped out the front door and locked it. 3 days until our parents get back from their holiday
We walked to Chai and sky's. Tonight we are all going round and ordering food from loads of different takeaways and watching loads of movies on Netflix under blankets with the blinds closed and the lights switched off. We got to the building and arrived at their door. I rang the doorbell and waited a little while. No answer. I rang it again, again and again. I knocked in case the doorbell wasn't working. No answer. I shouted through the letter box. NO ANSWER! I rang Chais phone. Surprise surprise, no answer! I rang sky
"I'm soory, the person you are calling is unable to take your call" said the answer phone message. Where are they? Charlotte looked up at me and gave me a confused look.
"I haven't heard from them since they left us to go into the forest. Chai hasn't even put anything on twitter which is unusual. What if there's something wrong. Shall we go and check the woods?" she asked concerned.
"We can't, its dark and cold and they might not even be in there" I told her. She began to walk away
"Hey, where are you going" I asked grabbing her wrist
"To look for our friends. If you're not coming, fine but I'm going to see where our friends are" she said pulling her hand free and carried on walking. I gave out a sigh then followed her. I can't let her yo on her own and I don't think I can talk her out of going. I love her so much and if something was to happen to her it would be all my fault. I ran down the corridor and eventually caught up with her. She pulled out her phone
"I'm gonna called lilly because she will be going to sky's soon. Charlie phoned her and she told us to meet her. We met her and Jake at the swings in the park and entered the forest together
Charlotte P.O.V
Yeah this is dangerous but I'm with 2 of my best friends and my boyfriend so I feel kinda safe. I wasn't really gonna come into the forest on my own I would have got lilly to come but I just knew that would make him come.
It was dark in the forest. We used the torches on our phone to light the way. We walked for about half an hour
" maybe we should go back, I don't think they're here" Jake said. Then we heard something. It sounded like voices
"Sky?! Chai?!" I called out
"Shut up. What if its not them" matt whispered
"Charlie?!" I heard someone shout back. That was any old person. That was sky!! I saw the shadow and ran towards it. It was her! We all dived onto sky and Chai and ended up in a tangled mess on the floor. I'm so happy. I began to think something terrible happened to them
Sky P.O.V
"Wait, I heard something" I told Chai. Someone calling our names?
"CHARLIE?!" I shouted. I knew that voice! Everyone came running over. I explained to them what happened, you know, we got lost. Jake remembered the way back so we all followed him. We got back to mine and Chais apartment. Unlocked the door and fell backwards onto the sofa and let out a large sigh of relief. I've never been so happy to sit down on this sofa
