Chapter 35:- Let the Games Begin

Hello my dear readers, welcome to another chapter. I know my updates haven't been timely and I really apologize for that, but I am busy nowadays and I promise I will try to keep updating soon.

After winning the 7th badge from Wulrfic, the gang headed towards Lumiose City. They learned that both the Masterclass and the big tournament Goodshow was planning were both going to be held there, so that was not a problem. Serena had been practising her performances a lot and did battle training as well. She didn't want to slack off against a traitor, more precisely Clemont and neither did Ash. He and Charizard had been working on their new power, which they had been failing to keep in control. They had decided to put it on hold since Charizard went berserk in his new Mega Evolved form and both Mewtwo and Char had to stop him before he burnt everything. They have been improving but still didn't have complete control.

Speaking of the Lumiose city gym leader, Ash and Serena decided to check what all the traitors were up to. With Sean's help, they were able to find what was going on in the world, since neither of them was not that good with electronics especially Ash who didn't even have a phone before he became Alola Champion. They found out that May and Dawn were both Top Coordinators of Hoenn and Sinnoh respectively, Iris was the final elite four in the Unova League and Trip was the Unova Champion. Misty was the final elite four of the Kanto League since Agatha retired, Cilan was a top connoisseur and Max was the Hoenn League Winner. Goh had caught a lot more pokemon but thanks to their efforts, he had no legendaries registered. Clemont and Sophocles had built a large multinational company and Sophocles was the CEO since Clemont was the Strongest Gym leader in Kalos. However, there was one person missing in that list and that was Bonnie, but neither of them cared.

The four of them made their way to Lumiose City and headed for the Prism Tower for the final gym battle. However since it was late in the evening, Ash and Serena decided to challenge the gym the next day. Both of them decided to go on a small date while Sean and Leaf went towards the pokemon centre where they had already booked the rooms for the night. Currently, Ash and Serena were eating ice-cream sitting in the middle of the park with their disguises on. They park was noticeably quite empty. Just as they were about to leave they heard light sobbing from the bushes. They decided to check on whoever it was and to their utter shock and surprise, it was their fromer travelling companion now classified as a traitor, Bonnie. Both of them were about to leave but Bonnie had noticed them.

"Alice..." She called out as she seemed to remember Serena's alias. Serena flinched at her call but calmed herself down as she didn't want a ruckus.

"What do you want?" Serena asked angrily, holding Ash's hand for keeping herself in control. Ash knew very well that if Serena got extremely angry even Giratina would be scared.

"I'm sorry about that day, in the professor's lab. And I apologize to you too sir. I shouldn't have behaved that way." She replied sincerely. Now this was new for them. Ash and Serena had seen the interviews the traitors gave and knew they were full of themselves and extremely arrogant. Then again, they never saw any of Bonnie's achievements. Their minds told them to leave immediately but their hearts told them to stay. Maybe she at least felt guilty? Fighting the conflict Serena replied.
