Chapter 12:- Meeting Mom

With Ash and Serena
Ash and Serena left the pokemon center in the morning after having breakfast. But one thing has been bugging Ash.
"Honey can I ask you something?"
"Sure Greg."
"Well you see I don't want to be Champion and all but as Kukui said, I need to tend to my responsibilities so we will go to Alola soon but that is if you can come."
"I understand Greg. And dont worry I would love to go to Alola with you."
"Thanks Honey."
With that they continued their walk towards Vaniville on route 1. The route 1 in Kalos was quite unique. It was lush green with nature and there were many few Pokemon. It had a natural silence and a soothing effect on one's soul. Soon it was nearing noon and Vaniville Town was just 2 or 3 hours away. Ash and Serena found a clearing and thought they should release all of their Pokemon.
"Alright come on out everyone." Serena said and tossed 6 pokeballs. Out came her trusty starter Delphox, a shy but cute Sylveon, a beautiful Milotic, a strong looking Absol, an elegant Gardevoir and a healthy Marshtomp.
"Alright everyone come out." Ash said and released his pokemon too. Serena was shocked seeing an entire collection of more than 70 Pokemon from all the regions. Of course 30 of them were Tauros, but still she was in awe.
"Wow Ash you have so many Pokemons and all of them are so healthy and strong."
"Yes they are. Thanks Honey. Yours are great and beautiful too." She blushed
"Thanks Ashy."
All Pokemon gave their respective cries. Since there were no people and all of them were considerably inside the forest this was not a problem.
"Everyone, I would like you all to meet my boyfriend/girlfriend Ash/Serena." Both of them said in unison.
All the pokemon were happy hearing this including Meganium, who had gotten over her crush on Ash when a particular geeko confessed to her. Some of Ash's pokemon were skeptical because of the betrayal but when he explained why he trusted Serena so much along with some aura explanation from Lucario, they were satisfied. All of Ash's Pokemon explained everthing to Serena's Pokemon and they all were fuming with rage as well. They vowed to help their trainer and her mate in time of need. Soon they had lunch and everyone enjoyed it. All Pokemon got along quite well.
"Honey where is Pancham?"
"Oh yeah he is at Professor Sycamore's lab. I switched him out for my Grand Festival."
"Alright"
Meanwhile one particular pokemon of Serena's was eyeing Ash with guilt. After they had their lunch, they returned all their Pokemon. Suddenly Serena's Gardevoir came and hugged Ash.
"What happened Gardevoir?" Serena asked
Gardevoir started sobbing and saying something but the couple didn't understand anything.
"Lucario could you please translate." Ash asked him, since he was not in his pokeball yet.
'Sure master. She is saying that she is the same Ralts you met on your Hoenn journey.'
"What?? But you had promised Max to wait for him right?" Ash asked not happy at the question himself.
Lucario translated 'Yes please don't get me wrong. I wanted to wait for him. Infact I even trained hard so that I become strong when he comes. I evolved into a Kirlia too and made new friends. But one day we were attacked by poachers and Serena saved us with Delphox and Sylveon. My friends were very injured and couldn't fight back, but I joined her in the fight. After fighting alongside her, I felt some connection with her. I just wanted to join her but I didnt want to break my promise. So I told her everything with the help of a Gallade, who joined us after Serena chased away those poachers. She told me that I could join her on her journey and she would release me if I ever wanted to leave and she also said she would help me find that brat. I was so glad that I immediately pressed a pokeball on her belt and got caught. But now after hearing all what happened, I am really glad that I joined her instead of waiting for that glasses brat. I am sorry for trusting such a lowlife."
"Well glad to meet you again Gardevoir. I can see you have really gotten stronger. And no need to be sorry, you did nothing wrong. Remember I too trusted him. But fate brought both of us to Serena for good." Ash replied calmly. Serena blushed
"I promise to help you out in whatever way I can Ash. I owe you for your help. And my trainer too." Lucario translated
"I am glad to have your help. And I know all of Serena's pokemon will help me as well. Because like trainer like pokemon." Ash replied with a smile.
Serena meanwhile after listening to this conversation, smiled. She was glad that a huge burden was lifted of her Pokemon's shoulder. She returned her and they all continued towards Vaniville Town.
