"We should have a family day today." Jax said, smiling lightly at her as he ate breakfast.
"Yeah? What do you have in mind?" Frankie asked, and he shrugged.
"I was thinking we could go to the park in Oakland for the day. What do you think?" He asked, and she smiled.
"Sounds good to me." She replied, and he smiled.
Frankie had talked to Sam again since they met a couple weeks ago. Sam had told her they were going to be in Washington for the next week or so covering a case, so she was going to meet them there while they were still working the case so she could talk to Dean. She honestly still wanted to hunt with them, but she wasn't going to be able to hunt and care for her two boys at the same time."You look a bit out of it, Frankie. Are you alright?" Jax asked, as he walked into their room to get ready for the day.
"I'm fine. I'm just thinking about my brothers." She replied, and he nodded.
"They're great guys. When are they coming back around?" He asked, making her sigh.
"I don't think they plan to come back around by the time Dean is gone, Jax. Actually, I'm going to Washington in a couple days to see them. I have to talk to Dean about something with Sam. He's worried about him, ya know?" Frankie said, and Jax bit his lip.
"Are you taking the boys with you?" He asked, causing the girl to sigh.
"I don't know if that would be safe. I don't want them to be in any danger. My brothers will be working a case, and I don't know if I'll be helping them or not yet." She replied, and he frowned.
"Do what is best for you, Frankie. I'm not going to try and tell you what to do, since I know you just do whatever you want anyway. I will support you in whatever you do." Jax said, and Frankie smiled.
Once the family was ready, Jax lead them to Frankie's car and decided he was going to drive to Oakland. As soon as they got to the park, Frankie helped Abel climb out of the car.
"I packed stuff for lunch." Jax said, and Frankie smiled.
Frankie watched her boys play, though Thomas really couldn't do much since he was still so young. Even though they didn't play long, Frankie was glad her two boys were having fun together. After an hour or two, Jax called the boys for lunch.
"We should do this more often." Jax commented, and Frankie nodded.
"Yeah, this was a lot of fun. We should definitely do this more." Frankie replied, and Jax smiled.
"The only way we could do that is if I go nomad. I won't have as much responsibility or time away from my family." Jax said, causing the girl to look at him wide eyed.
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Jax? I mean, your father was the one who started this club. Would leaving it behind to go nomad really be a good idea? Would leaving the club in Clay's hands be a good idea? I just feel like you need to think more on this before you make any decisions, Jax. I don't want you to make the wrong decision and then be upset with yourself later on." Frankie replied, trying not to tell him everything that she wished she could tell him.
When he said he was thinking of going nomad, she wanted to show him the papers she had found. She wanted to show him everything she took pictures of, but she chose against it. He needed to be in a calm mindset or already pissed at Clay before she was going to show him all the evidence she had against Clay.
"We should head back. I'm going to take you all out to dinner once we get home." Jax said, and Frankie quickly agreed.
As Jax began to clean up, Frankie brought the boys over to the car. She helped Abel into the car, before she placed Thomas into his carseat. As she was buckling him up, she was grabbed from behind and snatched away from the car. She quickly jabbed her elbow back into the man's ribs, as she tried to get away.
The man grunted in pain, as he tried to pull her to a van. Oh great, a kidnapper van she thought to herself. The closer they got to the van, the more she felt herself panic. She began to kick her legs to try and unbalance the man, but he just held on to her tighter.
"Jax!" She screamed, trying to get his attention.
Jax quickly dropped everything he was holding, as he ran to the car to check on the boys. As soon as he seen both boys were secured in the car, he took off running towards the van that Frankie was being pulled to. She screamed again, trying to bite the man when he placed his hand over her mouth.
Once they were near the van, Frankie was thrown inside and she landed with a thud. The man tried to hold her in the van as it began to try and speed away. Jax yelled for Frankie, causing her to snap out of her daze. She quickly shot up to her feet, punching one man in the face, sending him to the ground. The other man came at her, but she headbutted him in the face, successfully busting his lip and breaking his nose in seconds.
The man she punched wrapped his arms around her, picking her up off the floor. She quickly threw her legs to the side of the van and kicked herself and the man back, hitting him off the back of the van. The other man stood up covered in blood, he swung his elbow back, hitting her in the face. Blood trickled from her nose and mouth, but all she did was swing her leg around and kicked him in the neck. The other guy got up to grab her, but instead she threw herself out of the van, successfully ending the fight and freeing herself at the same time.
Jax ran over, pulling her to his chest as the van sped off. Her blood was dripping on his white shirt, as she tried to calm down her racing heart. She knew she'd feel sore the next day, but for now the adrenaline was keeping her awake and practically pain free. She didn't know why she had been targeted, but she knew she needed answers...
