When the samples arrived, they had all melted down into a thick white substance.
To research this substance, one Gretel Schnee was employed.

Doctor Gretel failed to notice a drop of it seep out from the other side, dripping into a box without a trace.

A brunette teen then enters the lab.

Gretel: You mean your merchandising scheme?
Mari: You call it a scheme now, but when I'm stinking rich when this is all over, you'll wish you had invested in this.
Going behind the container, Mari finds the box containing her "gift".
Mari: I'm off to ship it. Try to lock the door before you get intimate with that sludge again.
She leaves, not knowing how some of that sludge had sunk its way into the box.
