It was about mid-afternoon when we arrived in the bustling city. Marble buildings towered everything as we drove by them, I watched the airships glide slowly in the morning sky, I closed my eyes as I imagine being on one of them. It's has been a while since I've last seen this place in person, I was only a child when I last visited the City of Inventors and it looked like nothing happened here, it all looked unbothered like the war didn't affect it at all.

It was a fairly large city so getting around was a little difficult, Mike was the one with the GPS set up on his phone, telling us where exactly to go and the first place for us to stop by was the five-star hotel Gerard paid for us to stay in during our travel.

Josh was sleeping on Très shoulder, his light snores distracted me from Billie Joe and Mike's small argument on which direction to go. Nate was staring out of the car window, deep in thought. His eyes never blinked for a few seconds as he turned away to face forward, pulling his hood over his head and leaned back into the seat as if he was going to sleep for the rest of the car ride to the hotel. And turns out, I was right.

Toby on the other hand was on the phone with his wife so I didn't bother them and let them have their privacy.

Then there was me, taking in the scenery around us. But all of that excitement and elation was soon replaced by trepidation and I didn't know why this kept happening to me. I wanted to talk to someone but I wasn't sure how to place my words to make the guys understand since this feeling was unexplainable, so I kept quiet about it.

“Were here! Finally!” Billie Joe's voice rang through my ears and interrupted my train of thought. We approached a large building with a fountain in front of it as the van slowed and stopped in a parking space next to a few other cars that were staying here as well. We got out and grabbed our stuff.

Once we were inside I couldn't help but notice how everyone looked to be of high class, making us look like we didn't belong here. However, though the place did look beautiful and they even had a fountain inside as well.

A few people gave us looks as they walked past us, but I just ignored them as we went over to the clerk's desk to check in.

“Name?” She raised her eyebrow at me as she waited for me to respond.

“Gerard Way, he was the one that paid for our rooms,” her look didn't change as she typed into her computer, after a few moments of silence she handed us three keys to three rooms. I took them all and went to where she directed us.

We walked down a long hallway with each door on opposite sides until we've found our rooms at the end. I gave Toby a key for him and Nate, then Billie Joe for him and his group and the last one was for Josh and I.

We departed and entered our rooms. Josh threw his backpack onto the bed by the window while I took in the new environment. The room was huge with two king-sized beds, a connected bathroom and a tv with a dresser underneath.

“Are you ready for tomorrow night?” Josh asked from his bed, which he was already snuggled in and peeking through the covers to look at me. Tomorrow was The Fighting Games in which almost every supernatural being will fight each other to the death. And this was all according to Nate and Toby since they had done this in the past before the apocalypse ever happened.

I was thinking this over, I wasn't much of a person of violence and watching monsters kill each other wasn't entertainment for me, but then again, if it makes the guys happy then I'll go with them tomorrow and see this for myself.

So I just shrugged, “not really,” was my response.

“You don't have to go if you don't want to Tyjo, maybe it's for the best if you-”

I interrupted, “no, no it's fine.” I waved my hands out in front of me, stopping him. But, Joshua can tell something was up and he will push until he gets the answer he needs.

“Somethings bothering you? What's wrong?”

I couldn't help but nod my head and decided to explain what I can to him. I even told him about the moon situation that nobody can decipher from what I know. According to Gerard's team back at the mansion nobody couldn't find anything on why the moon had a face and why it was coming closer to the earth with each passing day. Some are saying that it's the work of dark magic. That was the only theory that I could agree on.

“Does anyone else know about this?” Josh asked once I had finished my story.

I shook my head, “not that I know of, I'm sure nothing bad will happen and it's just my mind playing tricks on me.”

Josh nodded before snuggling into the covers once more, “well let's hope for the best, shall we.” And that was the last thing he said to me before closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.

I signed and flopped onto my bed, facing the ceiling with my hands over my stomach. I was slowly dozing off from boredom as my eyelids grew heavy, taking me into a peaceful slumber.
