Sleepy Husband (shikamari)

Temaris pov

I was waiting at home for my husband shikamaru. He was working overtime as the hokages assistant so he was very late. I had already put our son shikadai down for bed so I was sitting up alone.

Suddenly I heard the door open. Shikamaru must be home!

"welcome home dear" I said trying to be as welcoming as possible.

"mmm I'm tired mommy" he muttered. He's in littlespace huh? I guess it's only natural given how much stress he was under. I'm honestly surprised he was able to get himself home!

"I know honey" I said gently cupping his face "I'm going to take you straight to bed ok?"

"mmm ok" he muttered, leaning on me.

I took him to bed while he leaned on my back (let me tell you that was not easy!). I lay him down and he immediately cuddled into my side. I ran my fingers through his hair and hummed a soft lullaby as he fell asleep. I kissed his forehead lovingly.

Yeah my life is definitely not normal but I'm happy with the life I have.
