Alone In The Woods (shikaneji)

Nejis pov

I walked through the woods sniffing quietly. How did I end up here? The last thing I remember was taking a walk with hina and Oni-chan when some bad man came out and said some mean things about my daddy!

They tried to take me away but I managed to escape but now I'm lost! I don't know where hina or Oni-chan is. Am I going to be lost forever?

My thoughts were cut off by someone laughing. I peaked through the bushes to see a man with a ponytail feeding some deers. My eyes lit up. Their so pretty!

Once they were finished eating the deers ran off. One of them jumped over my head! I got startled and yelped. The man jumped and turned to my direction.

"you" he pointed a finger angrily "what are you doing here? This is nara territory only"

I started to tear up. I hate it when grown-ups yell at me!

"i sowry" I sobbed "I didn't mwean to I just got lost"

His eyes soften as he walked towards me. I backed away fearfully.

"easy baby it's ok. I'm not angry anymore" he said petting my head. I stopped crying and giggled. I like getting head pats. "what's your name little one?"

"I neji hooga" I said proudly.

"a hyuga eh? Interesting" he muttered "my names shikamaru nara"

"that nwme too long. Imma call you shika!" I said firmly.

"whatever works for you kid" he chuckled "so you said you were lost didn't you?"

I nodded tearfully "some mwen men took me away from my Oni-chans and now I lost"

"hmm well you are part of the hyuga clan so I suppose a kid like you would be high in demand for kidnappers" shika muttered. He gently pulled me into a hug "shh baby it's alright. We'll go look for your Oni-chans now-"

"there he is!" I turned around to see my Oni-chans running towards me.

"Oni-chans!" I ran up and hugged big bro.

"oh thank goodness your safe!" hinata said hugging me tightly.

"naruto hinata what the hell are you doing in my tuff?" shika said looking annoyed "I can excuse neji since he's too little to know any better but what the hell is your excuse?"

"we were looking for him you big jerk!" Big bro yelled.

"tch what a pain" shika sighed "fine. Take him and leave them"

"gladly" Big bro said sticking his tongue out.

Before we left though I ran up and hugged shika "twank you for looking awfter me"

"no problem kid. You can come visit me anytime" he smiled at me in a way that made my tummy feel funny.

I think I like him.
