Alan: *looks out the window* A storm is coming!
Emma: Oh no!
SkittishReflections: Emma, take a deep breath! It's hot and humid, so you know what to expect!
A loud thunderclap shakes the apartment!
Emma: *shrieks* Yaaaaaaaa!!!! *runs into the closet and closes it*
SkittishReflections: *sighs* This is just a typical summertime pattern.
Me: Indeed! *has ear plugs in my ears to mute out the sound*
Brandon: *panting* My heart! That was a big one!
Frank: Darn skippy! It'll blow on through! It's now pouring cats and dogs! Whoo!
It rains cats and dogs, accompanied by flashes of lightning and claps of thunder!
Richard: It's moving along! Won't last too long!
Andrea: Exactly!
The thunderstorm is over, and the sun comes back out.
Frank: It's over, now.
Alan: Emma, come on out! The storm passed!
Emma: *timidly comes out of the closet* That was loud!
Alan: You can relax now, Emma!
