Over time, I felt like I had searched everywhere for them, but I couldn't find them. I began to give up and went over to Levi's office. I heard voices inside. "Oh my God! Are you serious?!" the person squealed excitedly.

I stepped inside and there stood Mikasa, Armin, and a very exhilarated Hange talking to Levi. I walked over to them, and they glanced over at me. "Oh, Y/N. We've been looking everywhere for you," Hange said.

"Really? I've been looking for you guys too."

"Why?" Armin asked sweetly.

"I wanted to apologize for the way I talked to you guys earlier. I should've waited to hear your side of the story, and I shouldn't have listened to Eren so easily. I'm sorry!" I said, bowing as a deep apology.

"You don't have to dogeza bow to us," Hange laughed. I stood up straight and hugged Hange. She embraced me even tighter. After a few seconds, I pulled away.

"Y/N, I want to speak with you for a moment," Levi kindly asserted.

"Of course!" I smiled slightly. Hange smirked and gave Levi a thumbs up before guiding everyone else out of his overly clean office to give us some space. Weird, I thought.

I examined his spotless work area. It was almost impossible to get comfortable in here since I was afraid to mess something up. There wasn't a speck of dust in the room. I looked over to Levi, who had just gotten up from his seat and leaned against the front of his desk. "Y/N."

"Yes, Levi?" I walked over to him.

"Can I please make you mine?"

"I'm already yours," I giggled.

"I want you to be mine and only mine. I want you to take everything from me," he wrapped his hands around my waist.

"Everything? Can I take your last name?" I partially joked, looking into his eyes deeply with a smirk that tugged at the corners of my mouth.

"Yes," he responded quite straight fowardly. Your eyes widened with shock before he continued, "We've been engaged for four years now. I've been waiting for what feels like forever. I love you, Y/N."

"Can we please get married, Levi? I want to be stuck with you forever."

"Anywhere. Any time," he smiled, "actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about."

"Really? Is that why Hange was so excited?" I chuckled.

"Yeah, she was painfully obvious about it," he rubbed the back of his neck. I continued staring at him, lost in his gaze. He was so beautiful, and he was all mine.

His arms that were snaked lightly around my waist tightened. He pulled me closer if that was even possible. He gave me a sweet cheeky smile, "I love you so much. I can never get enough of you. I don't understand how I feel, I never have. I'm just drawn to you like a magnet."

Returning his smile, I pulled him into an endearing kiss, smashing our lips together, closing the gap between us. If only you knew how you truly make me feel. I can't even describe it.

Without hesitation, he deepened the kiss, our lips moving in sync. With a continuous, rapid increase of intensity, my knees became weaker. I grasped onto him as if he were the only thing to keep me on my feet in a wavering universe. Butterflies swirled inside of my stomach as I felt his heart beat faster and faster.

When his lips met mine, it seemed as if time stood still, but the dancing inside my chest just grew stronger and stronger. I could only think about how warm he was on my lips and how he completely filled all of my senses. I couldn't think straight.

No matter how many times we had tasted each other's lips before, it never changed, it was just like the first time. There was the same youthful flutter that grew in our stomachs, our hearts beating a mile a minute.

Every time we pulled away for air, he would sneak quick glances at me before connecting our lips again. With a simple peck as the finale, we separated, looking into each other's eyes as stupid smiles grew across our face.

I couldn't describe the feeling of bliss and comfort that came along with the presence of Levi, even if I wanted to. Just being around him made me feel at home. I never knew or understood what the word home meant. I mean, I knew the definition, but I never felt anything akin to the term. A home is somewhere that someone lives, but feeling at home is the comfort of feeling belonging in that place you reside. Levi was the closest thing I had to home.

At first, when i began to feel this way towards him, i was in denial. I didn't want to believe that I had actually fallen for someone, especially someone of a higher importance. He was the captain of a squad; meanwhile, i had just joined the scouts - and his squad - only a couple months beforehand.

But as I grew to get to know him, I became attached and eager to be close to him. I wanted to always be around, it made me feel happy and comfortable - like I belonged.

I thought he would never feel the same way. He seemed like the type to be an anti-romantic, in all honesty. I thought that if I confessed to him, he would kick me out of his office and life - literally.

After seeing the way he whacked people with his feet and kicked down doors so easily, I was scared of his legs. When he would cross his legs when he sat after I first saw their power, I flinched just the slightest bit. I mean, he beat the shit out of Eren in front of everyone.

Levi had this intimidating stare that he would use on people and it kinda caught me off guard at first, but I couldn't help but burst into laughter every time he would look at me like that. It felt like he was glaring into my soul. I somehow found a way to laugh at that - which surprised Levi because most people become scared of him. I was scared of him, I just laugh at everything, even at the wrong times.

Eventually, I grew to find a sense of safety whenever I was around him. He didn't scare me anymore. After all, he did save me several times. I was grateful to him for that.

Time changed everything - for good and for bad.

But no matter what, it was Levi and I against the world.
